homy hostel — Hotel in Da Lat City

Homy hostel is such a good place! We stayed 4 nights here and it was great time. Hosting family are very lovely and hospitable. Always they talking with us and want to help for they guest. This hostel is near city center (15-20 min by foot to city center or night market ) BUT located in very homestyle small street so it's very quiet and cozy. Near (3 min by foot) you have also normal day market and some small shop and local restaurant with local price. Room was clean. Wifi connection was fast. Also in this hostel they have kitchen so it's convenient, you can cook everything you want :) Of course, they will book for you bus ticket and other staff. We booked the private room online, after a long motorcycle ride into Da Lat we wanted to rest. We showed up and we are told the private room is not available, so we were taken to a living room (not a room) w 6 bunk beds. Beds were really hard, room has no ventilation and a few mosquitos. Bathroom is outside the building which sucks for a middle of the night need. ||There was also a makeshift carpentry shop on the courtyard that started working at 7am making it impossible to sleep. ||Unfortunate experience, and really disorganized staff, they expressed they were sorry in a nice way but didn't really know how to manage the place. ||The location is good, but that's all this place has...

If you're a backpacker looking for a budget bed and friendly staff in a local area, then look no further! My wife and I were treated very warmly by the owner, a very sweet young lady who's eager to help you in any way possible to experience her beautiful city. ||||I will say that if you're a light sleeper, to book a bed in one of the closed rooms, as it can be a bit loud in the late evening and early morning (as with any hostel). ||||Homy Hostel is a true backpacker experience, located smack-dab in an excellent and locally inhabited part of the city, just steps away from the main backpacker streets.
