This was not the hotel I expected. The staff is nice but they don’t speak very well English so it would be good to have one who can speak Vietnamese. At first, I thought it is a good 3 Star Hotel, but then they showed us the room. Overall, it was clean, but underneath the toilet, there was water and black dirt. I confronted the staff right away and they sent someone to clean it. After that, it was better but the black spots were still there. The room was very cold and we had a window, which we couldn’t close because it was damaged. Also it was very moist in this room and all our close felt wet. And on top we had a window in the bathroom which was all the time open into the corridor (you couldn’t close it because there was no glass). Also the door was really thin so we could hear every noise very well. They have a lot of Vietnamese tourist there, they are not very thoughtful of other guests, and make drinking party’s until 2 am or longer if you don’t say something. I will not come back...
Read moreCame to this hotel for 4 day and 3 nights stay. However when we first walked into our room, there is a nasty smell and there is a lot of mold on the walls. Filed a complaint to front desk however they told us to just deal with it. We were sleeping and were woken up to the couple rooms around the our floor. They were drunk people singing and yelling. We checked our phone and it was around 1am. We let it slide and it happened again at 4am. More drunk people walking around the floor yelling and screaming at each other. Told the receptionist and they responded “ people are leaving so bear with it”. I get this place is a 3 star hotel and shouldn’t expect much, however they need to be training their receptionist with some common sense and respect for their paying customers. We are paying customers! We are NOT staying at this hotel for FREE! I would say if you want to stay in a hotel with no customer service and no sleep from their rude neighbors then this...
Read moreThe trouble with Da Lat is that it seems to have more hotels than visitors – so we were among only a handful of guests staying at this hotel which had a grand and cavernous lobby. ||||We booked our accommodation in advance, but on arrival and much to our surprise, we were shown to a twin room that was windowless. We were less than happy about this, and when we questioned it we were offered a better room with quite a pleasant view over some local back gardens.||||Breakfast on the top floor was nothing special, but the room offered some great views across the city. However, a large television played an endless video loop about the hotel with the most dreadful music accompanying it. It must drive the staff mad, but they seemed impervious to it.||||Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The nights were cold and the room had no heating, so we asked for extra bed covers which were quickly provided.||||All in all, a merely...
