Stayed in 3 bedroom apartment 501 for 6 nights. Amazing value for money. Hard to find arriving from airport (30mins ride) as it’s down a tiny lane not accessible by car. Had to haul my luggage in and the desk was not staffed at 7pm so I had to wait for half an hour for them to come back from their dinner. Staff are quite blasé not very service oriented. You have to ask for everything like toilet rolls they will only give you one unless you insist you need more! They can provide drinking water for the dispenser machine in your apartment.

Rooms are well appointed but smelled musty and damp, not the best cleaning either.

My Vietnamese student had rented the apartment for me to teach a meditation course in & for 2 other students traveling in to stay. Not really the ideal place for a meditation course as we had to sit in the living room floor - but we spruced it up nicely with vases of fresh flowers and burned incense regularly to mask the damp smells.

Fully equipped kitchen for cooking and washing machine. Beds and bedding all clean and comfy. Nothing fancy but as I said, great value for the space and good location walking distance to a road full of delicious food options and the lake. Only 15 mins by Grab bike into Old Town - cheap & convenient to use the transport app.

It's cheaper compared to the adjacent homestays but at a cost

Windows face inwards to a "courtyard" no view really next to ho tay lake which is a waste

When we arrived early we asked if there's early check in a nd the staff at the counter tried to extort 100k vnd per early hour of check in. When we came back at 12pm (2h prior to check in) different staff charged up nothing

When we checked in. Room doesn't look fully clean. Hair on the floor. The blanket was only a comforter cover. When asked for the inner comforter. The staff counter gave us one from the store room(dirty) and asked us to self insert.

Serviced apartments in Westlake area of Hanoi. Apartment is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and well appointed (kitchen including a microwave, oven, refrigerator and washer/dryer combo). Furnishings are modern and in good condition, high speed wifi is included. Apartment is really well located close to lake, and a short walk to many restaurants and cafes. We stayed in a 3br/3ba, bathrooms were likewise modern and clean. Only reasons for 4 stars: front desk is not staffed 24 hours, windows in the apartment face other buildings or interior courtyard (no views), the interior hallways carry noise (though was quiet at night).
