We had a bad experience at the restaurant and will never return and will tell other customers who intend to come here to enjoy. The restaurant is owned by an Argentinian - it advertises a lot but the service is very unprofessional. To prepare for the family meeting, we booked 15 seats, set a timer and confirmed, sent a photo of the dining room on the first floor - where my family will dine (my family has both elderly and young children). ). When we arrived, we were taken to the 2nd floor, into a room with a maximum of 12 seats, which was haphazardly arranged with things for about 8 people and 10 chairs, very cramped for 14 people (because 1 person was busy and didn't come). When I complained to a waiter, that person left and 15 minutes later another employee came up and then another 10 minutes later another employee came up and apologized round and round, not logical and unable to convince me of the reason for leaving the customer. else booked a table later and used the room we were confirmed to. Because I made an appointment, I am forced to continue using the service here. There is no one to assist you with the service staff, the drinks take a long time and are ordered many times before being brought up, the food is normal, nothing outstanding, not to mention the...
Read moreTook my wife there to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day. Was handed a menu that was dirty, ripped, and falling apart. Placed our order and after 45 minutes we inquired as to when our appetisers would arrive. The waiter told us that the food was on its way. However, 5 minutes later, a different waiter came and asked us to confirm our order. It was clear that our order wasn’t processed. 10 minutes later, a steak arrived. We were then told that my order, the burger, wasn’t available. I chose a different dish, but by the time it arrived my wife had already finished her meal. Then, after everything was finished, the waiter bought the steak sauce and side dishes. After we had already finished. The waiter was polite and offered a free side dish, but by that time the experience was already ruined. I had been excited to take my wife to that spot, but I was so embarrassed when we left. It seems that this restaurant has the Hanoi Curse; every establishment starts their first 6 months well, before quality drops. Dreadful experience. Next time I shall take my wife somewhere...
Read moreOne of our favorite dining experiences in Vietnam . Whoever is handling front of the house is doing a stellar job . GM recommended the flap and it was prolly my fav cut of meat that night.
For mains we got the ribeye Japanese wagyu and that was just scrumptious- great marbling and flavor which led to a rich melt in your mouth experience. The picahna was okay , but only bc it was overshadowed by the flap and the ribeye.
Service was perfect - followed up when needed and gave us the right amount of service and privacy.
Issues: plating for bone marrow seems unnecessary and may be a hazard leading to lawsuits - small pebbles under the bone should be removed. The bread and sour cream service - the bread should be toasted. Let servers know that instead of asking to take a cup away(for my cola) they should ask would I like another- this should be done for ANY drink besides water. This will also increase per person average .
Overall the best bang for your buck when it comes to steak but honestly even if it was more expensive I’d still come here ....
