Hoàng Gia Minh Hotel 1 — Hotel in Hải Phòng

Do check the room and especially the bed before checking in. I did not do it because I had to hurry to get to a booked trip, and regretted it. When coming back to the room late at night, I realized my mattress was like a wooden board. I had never had such a bad bed in any hotel. Even the hard sleeper trains in Vietnam were softer. I had to use the blanket from the second bed and fold it underneath me to be able to sleep. The next day, I asked to get a discount and a new room and all the ones they made me try had terrible beds. 2 friends of mine who were in the same hotel had proper mattresses though, and if you do then the rest of the room is good, rather new and clean, and the price is good value for money. I write in to inform you all that the services provided by the staff of Hoang Gia Minh Hotel in Cat Ba Island, is excellent and outstanding particularly the Front Desk staff . Both of them are fantastic, friendly, helpful and efficient in their services and work.||||As this is my second time staying at this hotel, I noticed that their services are getting better and best each time I stayed here. 10USD per night for a clean room with aircon, fans and two double beds is not bad. Even had sea view.
