Tit & Mit — Restaurant in Hải Phòng

My review is about my experience of a western style, espresso-based drink. I'm not speaking for the rest of the drinks, typically asian style, that are probably handled better.

So it's the story of a 65k cappuccino, my most expensive coffee of Vietnam! Sure it didn't taste bad, but very weak coffee flavor and obviously the ratio milk/foam was off, might as well call it a latte? The foam was weird, you can see pictures of it in other reviews. He doesn't have the machine for it, fine but you can create nice foam in other ways, with a French Press.

No tea served with it, it's not a crime but I received tea with a 25k cappuccino before.. I see on reviews small cookies with the coffee, so I had to ask to get them too. 😮‍💨 The cookies are kept open in their original packaging, so not very crunchy anymore.

We waited 30 minutes for our coffee and what used to be hot was served cold. We were the only coustomers in the low season. My grandmother got no coffee after 30min, mine was cold and the iced coffee from my girlfriend was just chocolate with mashed ice cube. The sizes where very small for normal coffee serving sizes and one of the most expensive coffees in whole cat ba. Because the shop opens early, we were happy to finally catch a visit in the morning and it was one of the worst expieriences regarding service I ever had in traveling 4 months trough South-East-Asia. They were very accommodating! I’m lactose intolerant and they were able to tell me which drinks I couldn’t have. They made me a brown sugar milk tea with coconut milk that was very yummy. They also have the type of chewy black tapioca pearls (boba) that I’m familiar with and had not been able to find in Vietnam at other spots, until now. ☺️ We came here twice in one day because of their menu options & vegan / dairy-free options.
