I loved this homestay Hotel. The staff are very welcoming, the hotel is very smart and clean. However I would say if you don't cycle this may not be the place for you. It is away from the main town activity which is about a twenty minute easy cycle ride away. The hotel provide plenty of modern bikes. The area where it is situated is fairly quiet and there is no where close to eat. Indeed on the evening we arrived we walked out of the hotel and had to walk for about 30 minutes before finding any where to eat. After this there was not a problem as we used the bikes. The hotel has a lovely quaintness about it, you have to leave your shoes outside, you have to make your breakfast selection the night before. Most things in Hoi An close by midnight, we were stop outs and did not normally come back until about 2am. We would find the hotel owner asleep on the floor waiting for us to come back before he locked up! Loved it!||The hotel has a small but nice pool with sunbeds actually in the water at the shallow end. It was not busy but I guess it could be if many guests used it. Breakfast was simple but fine.||||||When we left the hotel arranged a taxi to take us to the airport, unfortunately when we arrived at the airport my friend had left his holdall at the hotel containing his passport!||Our flight was in about 90 minutes so we would not have had time to return and collect it as it had taken about 45 minutes to get there!||||Amazingly we received a message to say the owner how found the bag and was on his way to us with it. He duly arrived with the bag and would not take any money for his time or petrol even although I think it must be around a 60 mile one and half hours round trip.! What other hotel owner would do that for you! We made the flight with...
Read moreThis small hotel packs a punch! We absolutely loved our five night stay here in March/April. The number one best thing is Moc Tra on reception. From the moment we arrived she ensured we had a great stay. She greeted us on arrival and gave us a map showing where to find the sights. She is friendly, professional, efficient, and provided guidance on what to see and how.||Free bikes were available which we used a few times. Laundry service was available which was done the same day. Moc Tra arranged a car/driver to us up at the airport and one to drop us after our stay. The mini bar had cold water and beer for minimal cost. A delicious daily breakfast was prepared at minimal cost - western or Vietnamese, lots of fresh fruit. The bed was comfortable, quiet efficient air conditioning, and nice deck overlooking the river. Spotlessly clean accommodation. Birds singing. The sounds of this local neighbourhood were so nice and people were very friendly when we walked for dinner. We used Grab to get us to An Bang Beach a couple of times and if we were in the Old Town as it’s a bit of a walk. Staying in Old Town would not have been our preference. If you prefer a more local, quiet and relaxed stay with the best hospitality- this...
