Nhà hàng Nón Lá — Restaurant in Hội An

As much as I want to be kind, I’m sorry. But this has to be the worst quality buffet I’ve ever tried in my life. For 299,000 vnd, I was expecting at least a passable quality, but it’s not. The beef skewer was a jawbreaker. All the skewers are bland. Oysters had what tasted like cheap cheese. Baby octupus was tough a bit overcooked. The only two I liked are the chicken wings and tiger prawns but these are the only passable ones. I had the vietnamese mushroom soup, it’s like instant soup. I hope they improve for future guests, especially foreigners, we are only here for a limited time and want to choose where we eat carefully. I wasted one meal in Vietnam and I am very sad about it. Me and my wife are so disappointed with the standards cleanliness of what they have. My wife found an insect in her bowl after she scooped one of the dishes. The worse thing was the manager smartly change our dishes into their set meal without asking us first!!! As he didn’t ask what dishes we want to change, at least he should ask do we sensitive with any food or not. He just brought us the set meal and it was not suitable for us. Also, he offered us 10% discount, but when we settled the bill there is no any discount!

It ruined our dinner and night.

We wanted to have some finger food or light snack and drink before the show start. This restaurant looks more impressive as compare to the other 2 Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant.

But the restaurant do not served coffee or ala cate. They only have 2 option for set meal @ 300K and 350K which is not what we wanted given the low and negative rating online.
