Great room, spacious, with balcony, wardrobe, shower separated from the toilet and both fan and air condicioning. Good location at about 10 minutes walking from the Old Town Correct breakfast consisted of a piece of fruit (not chosen by you), coffe or tea and a main course It has laundry service for VND 30000/kg and they give your folded clothes back on the same day
The communication with the personnel is quite complicated. 2 out of the 3 people that we met during our stay could not speak in english at all. Eventhough the lady and the boy at the reception were very smily and helpful, it was imposible to speak nothing with them. The third one, Nhi, is the person you have to talk with via Whatsapp when you require any service (rent a bike, hire a private car for the airport, do the laundry, etc.). Eventhough she knows a little english, the communication is still complicated. In our case, she (Nhi) just showed up at the hotel 2 out of 5 days. We did not have a proper check-in and when we finally met Nhi (on our third day in the hotel), she did not even introduce herself. If you are lucky and the person who is in charge at the reception is the lady, your room will be cleaned and tidied up everyday, the used towels will be changed and the bin will be emptied. If not, your room will be kept untouched. The breakfast is served from 7h30 to 9h, but you will have to chose it the day before, aswell as the hour you would like it to be served. I think this system is quite unflexible for the client. Moreover, in our case, 4 out of 5 days they did not serve it at the agreed time or they did not serve what we ordered. At the reception there is a cat of 4 months that, eventhough it is very cutie, when you arrived at the hotel and there is no one at the reception (most of the times), it follows you to your room and tries to enter to it, being this situation a little unconfortable. As we did not have a proper check-in, no one told us that the small bottles of water in the fridge of the room were not free. We had to pay VND 10000 per bottle eventhough there is not a prices list in the room (Luna Rossa was the only hotel in Vietnam that charged us for the bottles of water at...

Read moreLuna Rossa has the loveliest hosts— both girls very friendly, helpful and fantastic English. They were welcoming and went out of their way to make me feel at home and cared about my comfort. I stayed for seven nights and one day I became extremely sick and Win (I’m not sure of correctly spelling, so sorry) she was so kind to go out of her way to care for me by bringing me tea, a baguette, and check on my wellbeing. Truly amazing treatment! The facilities offer a nice riverside view, fantastic location within walking distance of night market and old town yet just far enough away where it wasn’t too noisy at night. The room has everyone one could ask for when traveling— great shower, towels, hair blow dryer, nice clean towels, big comfy bed, fast WiFi, TV, ceiling fan, and A/C. Each day the room was cleaned and replenished with bottles of water and coffee. Every morning there is a wonderful wide selection of delicious food for breakfast prepared fresh to order served with incredible tropical fruit and quite possibly the best tasting Vietnamese coffee ever. I highly recommend this Homestay and will definitely plan to stay again on my next visit to the beautiful town of Hoi An. Thank you girls for...
