I have read numerous good reviews and I'm about to give 1 myself :) The hotel is a 2 buildings -1 for the cafe(air con) and lodging, the shorter one provides extra cafe space(non air con) and bicycle storage. Host -We were greeted by the friendly host on arrival and brought up to our room promptly. There will be zero hard selling of goods whatsoever(which seems to be a thing in Vietnam) throughout the stay. And I'm relieved. Room -Very clean and spacious. There are a total of 5 rooms if I'm not wrong. 3 facing paddy field, 2 facing internal. Highly recommended to request for 1 of the 3 rooms facing Paddy. Drinking water is free to collect in every mid section of the stairs. Bicycle rental is free too. If you are just going for leisure cycling amongst the greens, go extra early or after 4pm.... The Sun...... Cafe -We patronized its cafe in all 3 days of stay here. The menu is mainly Western selections. Opening hours 9-4pm(last order 3:30). I highly recommend the "Coconut Coffee" -a scoop of Coconut ice cream in a glass of ice blended coffee. Location -Relatively near to Old Town area where all activities take place. Can easily Grab a car to bring you around. The only shortfall I can think of is that the Paddy Hotel might not suitable for people with walking/climbing issue. There is no lift to bring you up your rooms. Finally, kudos to Paddy Boutique House, 5/5 for the relaxing stay!

It's almost March 30, and we have been staying in this establishment for almost 30 days... Our plan was to “live” in Hoi An.... And not just do like our prior visits, rush through this landmark, in 3 or 4 days. "Paddy Bourque House" seemed like a nice place… And it turned out to be the BEST place to live this experience. Phuong and Toan the two owners, accompanied by Phuong’s sister ,Thanh , in the kitchen and her husband Chính , the in-house “Barista” , were always ready to help us in our day to day needs... Even the night watchman was really kind with us… Even though he could hardly speak any English... 😂 . Always ready to give us names of local restaurants we could try, Toan was a great host. Room was a bit small 😂 , but became our "Home away from Home" very rapidly. Relatively close to everything, we explored the city and nearby beaches by foot, or with the help of a bicycle.... that the hotel supplies freely to its guests. The main street just behind our hotel has a rather good choice of restaurants.. Looking for a Mini Mart or pharmacy, they’re all there at a 5, 10 minutes walk. Hoi An can be a beautiful place to live…if you really explore it. Everyone is really friendly.... Phuong and Toan made our stay an extraordinary adventure we will always remember.

We have LOVED staying here and are so sad to leave! The hotel itself is gorgeous and the owners are so kind and you can tell they want to ensure every guest has an amazing stay. The first floor of the hotel is a cafe, which makes delicious coffee (our favorite was the salt foam coffee!) and has tasty food too! And then upstairs are the rooms, which are stunning! We loved the design and colors of the rooms and there were so many thoughtful touches. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and the bath tub was so unique compared to most places we have stayed. And then the view! We had a view of the rice fields and we loved just staring out the window whenever we were in the room. The location of the hotel is great as well. Ancient Town is a 20-25 minute walk, which we enjoyed walking to, but they offer free bike rentals if you’d prefer to bike. We took the bikes through the rice fields, vegetable village, and to the beach one day and it was a blast! They also offer a laundry service (for a fee) and can arrange a car to and from the train in Da Nang! Overall, we couldn’t recommend this place more! We are only 1.5 weeks into our 6 weeks in Vietnam and I think Paddy will be hard to beat!

A beautiful tranquil well designed and thought out little boutique house away from the hustle and bustle of the busier end of Hoi An.|We checked in early but were able to leave our bags whilst we borrowed bikes to explore.||The boutique house also has a cafe on the ground floor with a great selection of food and drinks. The cafe overlooks the rice paddies.||Our room (no 3) was perfectly equipped with everything you should need, kettle, tea, coffee, mini fridge, bottles of water (and water refilling stations outside the rooms), plenty of good lighting, mirrors and sockets, with hanging and storage space, a safe, a sofa, bedside table and dressing table (with hairdryer).||The staff and service was impeccable... attention to detail in the rooms along with how they serve the food and drink. Nothing is rushed. The staff are all very kind attentive and caring.||We did walk most days into the old town which took a leisurely 25/30 minutes. However one evening we took a cab back which cost us 50,000 VD. ||We used the bicycles from Paddy Boutique House to cycle across the paddy fields to An Bang Beach for a change.... a slow cycle (because of stopping to take photographs) took apx 20 minutes. We then paid 4,000 VD to park the bikes at the beach front.||In hindsight would I book again and stay out of the old town, yes absolutely! Hoi An old town at night did make me slightly uncomfortable, not from a safety aspect but the crowds... I knew it would be busy and crowded especially at night when the lanterns lit up and people took the boat rides as it's a very famous tourist area of course it would be busy (don't be put off by that... just be aware) but knowing we were going back to calm was a real bonus.||I absolutely loved my time in Hoi An, all of it including the Ancient town at night and daytime, canals, temples, colonial buildings etc and visiting Tropical Home - Craft Beer & Cocktail Bar (please do visit, it's off the walking street tucked away) and 7 Bridges Hoi An Craft Beer Taproom (not so hidden but make sure you walk through into the...
