Cozy Private Home @ HCM D.5 — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

One of the best guest houses thanks to our host, Minh. He's really considerate, nice and friendly. Always here to help, to give us recommandations for our trip or for the restaurants near the house.

The room is very big and clean, just like the photos. Lovely and modern decorations ✨ The shower is outside of the room, on the balcony haha. Also very clean but don't forget to bring your shampoo and shower gel.

Doesn't have a kitchen but there's shared fridges, microwave, and so on

Located in the Chinatown of the city, so a lot of little shop and markets to eat cheap ! And very convenient to go to the city center with the buses or with scooters 🛵 Around 20min by bus. 😊

Anyway, love our stay here, feeling at home but...

Our 8 days stayed from June 1-9.2025 ...At no surprise why cozy private home has many 5 star rated . Below are our experiences : *Location .. Very central in D5 5 to 15 min to surrounding market ; fantastic Restaurant and shopping plaza . *Service .. Are Excellent ( Minh the owner are very responsive and very helpful ) .

• Room .. Not sure how many different type of room But our room are very large and super clean with King size bed ( wish the mattress are thicker but we ok with the one there ) . I am Highly recommended to everyone looking for place to stay in Saigon District 5 .

Have stayed at Lua's Cozy Private Home twice for a few weeks each time, and was very pleased (Dec 2022-Jan 2023, Mar 2023-Apr 2023). The location is convenient for me, with plenty of places in the area to eat and to get day-to-day needs. Minh is a very nice, friendly, and professional man and he has always shown that he truly cares about guests being comfortable and being able to enjoy their stay in Saigon. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are fine (Asian style bedding), and the property is clean and secure. I would recommend this property to others, and definitely plan on returning. Rich - San...
