Nice Chinese restaurant in the Chinatown area of Ho Chi Minh. If you want dim sum, don't confuse this place with the other... they have two locations. The other one does not serve dim sum. The restaurant has been around for decades and continues to look good. The food quality is average in comparison to dim sum I've tasted from different countries. For the price you're paying... it's definitely not worth it. Mind you, I am referring to people paying in CAD or USD. And definitely very expensive for the locals. The service, well, they're impeccable as they are constantly attending to your needs from tea refilling to immediate empty dish removals... well they do have two bodies standing there to wait on you afterall 😉 Overall, if you're a visitor to the Chinatown area, it's worth a visit and check it out. Service was very bad and we tried ordering the whole baby pork and although there was a language barrier, it was easy enough to convey the food we wanted. When we tried to order other food from the menu since it has an English translation, we thought it would be easy enough. Our waitress was nice and accommodating enough only for their male manager to hover and practically scream and trying to dictate everything. We wanted to leave but apparently they already started cooking the baby pig even though we haven’t finished ordering at the time? So we said to have the baby pig to take out and to get us our bill. We left with such disappointment at the service and atmosphere. Thankful for the two young waitresses for siding with us. Vietnam is great just this one restaurant made us never want to...
Read moreFood: This place is an absolute beast of a Chinese restaurant, dishes are well served and can literally taste the meal through 5 senses. It not just looked good, it taste are absolutely mouth-watering, its smell like a hot coffee cold Winter's morning (amazing), the crunchy sounds and feeling are super satisfying.
In short, this is not "Just" a Chinese restaurant
Services: I went there in a group of 10, with kids and elders, with this number plus the age range - there tend to be so disatisfaction - but, the waiter and waitress swiftly deal with everything
Atmosphere: For Asian, this is totally the place for you guys to come with your family, have a meals, have a chats, share your experiences - even for reunion. For Western, it tends to be a bit ... Loud, cause it is a Chinese / Vietnamese restaurant. But if you want to blend in with the locals, and experience VN/CN food, then this might...
