My first time in Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. The first this I want to make all traveler to this city is, SCOOTERS! This city is drowning in them. It is best you pay close attention when crossing the streets here. ||||Second is the smell. I can actually count the times we smelt fresh air. The traffic and the smell of exhaust is everywhere. I read many review how bad the hotel was, but I will differ. ||||Yes, it did have a moldy smell in the elevator but that was it. Our room was small but very clean. The. Bed was hard but still got a good nights rest. The bathroom was acceptable but the sink drain took for ever to drain the water. Lastly the refrigerator did not work but that was okay.||||The breakfast was sub par but doable. Also, the staff was very very friendly. I noticed them but it was same next day two. So need to organize breakfast from somewhere else. Their breakfast is not healthy and even they put the lid on top even they show there are lot of bugs running over...

A loud and antiquated ringing woke us up and scared the living day lights out of us. But as we scrambled to get our clothes on and get ready to evacuate, it stopped. Angry but tired, we climbed back into bed and just as we dozed off, the alarm started again!! This happened a total of 3 times throughout the night.||This was a complete waste of money as I barely slept. I would have got a better nights sleep on the floor...
