The low point of my experience at le Jardin not-so-Secret Hotel was the bath bomb. Instead of getting the fizzes, pops, and whizzles that a bath bomb should deliver, it sat silently in the bottom the the lukewarm tub. My outrage was only contained by the high sides of the bathtub, designed to prevent someone from leaving the water gracefully or quickly.

The hotel reception smiled, apologized for the bath bomb, and charged me full price anyway - though I did get a second apology after paying, which made me feel slightly better. I even brought samples down to the front desk for testing and research, but she seemed neither equipped for the job, nor willing to resolve my tragic situation.

Spent there a two-day staycation and was satisfied with the room, it had a hot tub (which I enjoyed the most haha) as the bath bombs were also provided. The best part of the room was soundproof, which is rare here, but much needed. The staff were friendly and ready to help. The food and drinks were served quickly, all of good quality and taste, so that we could enjoy the interior and ambiance of the cafe downstairs.

This place looks fancy, the owner for sure invested a lot into those looks, and there’s always something that would catch your eye.
