We had a nice short stay here. Location is great and very walkable to lots of great restaurants, cafe, etc. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Also, great stay for the price!
It’s not a fancy stay by no means, but it is comfortable and you have everything you could need. Our room was clean, and equipped with both AC and a fan (AC was not very strong but with both AC and fan on, we were comfortable). WiFi was a bit spotty here and there but worked for the most part. Bathroom was clean as well and provided basic toiletries. We also had nice hot water for our showers which is always pleasant to wash away the sweat from a hot day!
Our stay was very short so we did not utilize the laundry service but it appears they will wash, fold, and deliver your laundry to you at request. I am not sure if this is for an added fee or included in your stay but we found this to be very nice and convenient as they do the laundry at the facility.
Overall, for the price, location, and staff, we would definitely stay again and would recommend the same to travelers who don’t require a fancy stay. We were comfortable and had everything we needed :)
Also, we ended up having a very late flight in the evening and wanted a shower before our flight. They were willing to allow us a very late check out for a small fee which was very convenient so that we could store our luggage and have a nice hot shower before our long flight home. Just ask and they will do whatever they can to...
Read moreThe room is nice enough but as a frequent traveler there are some areas that really need improvement. First, to reach the front desk you have to call them using your mobile phone. Since I don't have a phone plan in Vietnam this uses a lot of my phone credits. Another problem, I wanted to watch TV to relax but the TV is programmed in Vietnamese and after I had the receptionist program it for me, almost all of the channels are in Vietnamese. This is understandable since I'm in Vietnam, but obviously hotels in HCMC have a plethora of international travelers so they should consider them as well as the local guests. The air conditioner was also very weak and took most of the night to bring the temperature to a level where I was not sweating. After asking, I found out that it had actually broken down a few nights earlier and was an old unit that needed replacing! However, the front clerks and receptionists seem well trained and are good in English and try to help as much as possible given the circumstances. The lobby was also appealing and decorated nicely...
Read moreGreat place to stay during our trip in Saigon. The location is in District 3 which is super convenient to local restaurants and shops. The price is very affordable and they have different options to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone visiting!
Things to improve on:
My suggestion is that since the room is cleaned every other day, they should be able to restock water when the room is cleaned. That’s better than having no water for the rest of the stay but don’t have to make the hotel provide water to the...
