So unfortunately I hate leaving bad reviewes on a company which I don’t think I’ve had to Do before , but on my first night in my room a guy came into my bed ( who I was presuming was drunk ) and opened my curtain and tried to get on top of me I confronted him about it and left and went to reception and they gave me a key to another room but didn’t do anything about the situation “because he was checking out anyway tomorrow “ so as I had to go back to the same room the following day to get my stuff the same person became really rude and aggressive because I never spent the night in that room and he was demanding stuff and stating it was his room and he could do whatever he liked even tho it was a shared hostel room so after that engagement I went back to to reception to tell about what happened again and to maybe go talk to him and once again it was “well he’s leaving “ so no concern for safety or anyone else that may be in the room with and he could also of been like that , unfortunate as it was my first night in Vietnam I had to leave that place and find elsewhere - girls I’d advise as a solo traveller go into a female only dorm for this place...
Read moreI stayed here for just one night because I missed my flight (an airport worker gave me the wrong directions, so I waited two hours in the wrong queue and ended up missing it). I wandered around the city and got too tired to look for other hotels since I was covered in sweat and dirt, and this place was conveniently located in the center of the market (location: 5 stars). I was just relieved to find a place with an adapter. Surprisingly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the shared shower and toilet were fine too (there was free soap, shampoo, and other essentials). It was a 10-bed dorm, but it was so quiet and pleasant—like a Japanese capsule hotel (rooms: 5 stars). The best part was the staff. The male night shift clerk was punctual and polite, but the lady, who seemed to be the owner, was incredible. I was rushing to the airport but didn’t have enough cash and couldn’t even call a cab. She helped me get a taxi and gave me about 20k VND so I wouldn’t miss my flight. I repaid her with 10 AUD as a token of gratitude, even though she refused it. She was extremely helpful and kind...
Read moreI hoped they would post a notice reminding people to keep quiet or silence within the rooms at all times. This is for the people who booked to this hostel as a group and often forget that other people, including solo travelers like me, who are tired from a long flight and would appreciate some peaceful time, are also staying in the same room. The lockers below the bed bother me since they are made of plain concrete, which scratches my baggage. Instead, they should install some carpeting or tiles.
For its affordable price, it was still a pleasant experience; the AC is really cold, the toilet and shower are well-maintained, the bed is comfy, and you can request for sheets and towels be changed every day. Staff are also polite and accommodating; they greet you every time you pass by.
What matters most to me is safety; they have staff available 24 hours, so they can assist you anytime you need them. A convenience store and a coffee shop that closes late are right next to the hostel, making my stay...
