Lâm's Garden Boutique Homestay — Hotel in Hue City

Our stay at Lam’s Garden Boutique Homestay in Hue was truly unforgettable. The hosts, Lam and My, are among the warmest and most dedicated hosts we’ve ever met. They provided us with numerous recommendations for local restaurants, adventures in the area, and more. On-site, we conveniently rented a moped to explore the city and its surroundings.||The rooms are not only beautiful and spacious but also impeccably clean—worthy of more than five stars! Breakfast was abundant and delicious, featuring freshly prepared soup, fresh fruits, bread with jam, omelets, along with coffee and orange juice. Here too, we’d gladly give more than five stars.||We’ve fallen in love with this homestay, largely due to the wonderful hosts. When we return to Vietnam, a visit to Lam and My is a must.||Additionally, we enjoyed an unforgettable transfer from Hue to Hoi An with Lam! Traveling comfortably by car through stunning rural landscapes, we encountered beautiful rice fields, impressive family temples, and incredibly remarkable cemeteries. We’re glad we chose this trip with Lam instead of options like LeFamilyRider (moped). Firstly, the car ride was comfortable for the long journey; secondly, we could stop anytime for photos or questions (Lam speaks excellent English and has many stories to share!); and thirdly, we experienced much more than the typical tourist itinerary.||We highly recommend this homestay to anyone staying in Hue. Amazing stay with Lam and his family. Best hospitality we have experienced in Vietnam. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed, balcony and was extremely clean, fridge and kettle included in room. We were able to use the kitchen facilities to cook if needed and Lam was on had to show me where everything was. Breakfast was really big amd homemade by Lams wife and included Vietnamese soup ( really tasty), fruit and baguette with eggs On our last day, we were given a take away lunch to have at the airport. Location was 25 minute walk to the citadel and also to the market We were also given a complementary dinner, which was a seafood Vietnamese soup and was really delicious!! Lam also brought us to the airport and was far cheaper than the taxis/grab. Lam is full of knowledge and was able to guide us ( and other guests) in depth about buses, and tour options in the North of Vietnam. Amazing value for money. Would highly recommend staying here. Incredible hosts, generous breakfast, spacious, quiet and comfy sleep anytime of the day (not just night), commercial area with lots of restaurants are about 10 mins walk.

The way the room is designed creates a cozy, homey, sophisticated feel compared to bland and blank walls of even nice hotels. This makes the flow of natural air easy also.

It feels like I stayed with my sweetest aunt and uncle, in a hotel-quality room. This really made my stay in Hue all the more unforgettable. Honestly, I feel like staying again here next time for more than 2 nights. 😌✨

Suggestion to hosts: Offer variation/option for breakfast since same dishes are also offered in walking tours and must-try restaurants.

Slight issue: Hot shower seems to not be consistent, it goes neutral after a few minutes. Also, I can hear sounds of the room next to me (TV, use of bathroom) when I am in the bathroom. Not heard in the room though after you close the bathroom.
