I don't know what people are ragging on this hotel for. Just $5 a night and you get a quiet dark room, big desk, great air conditioning, hot shower, prime beachside location near cheap and delicious shops and restaurants, free towels and toiletries and everything you need, big bed. I wish I had the courage to try this hotel earlier, rather than paying double (granted, there I had a window, balcony, view, even bigger bed and bathroom, more clean, etc.). This place is more than enough, and probably the best value in town. Bad points: no windows, a little dirty, and somewhat weak WiFi, and a buzzing sound from fridge and somewhere else. But for the price, that's forgivable. **The above was my original review upon first checking in, but then by the morning I found these major flaws, leading to a downgrade to 4 stars: unnecessarily bright lights from the air conditioner and TV lighting up the room, the buzzing sounds became more annoying, no chair, poorly positioned outlet (rendering me unable to plug in my computer). Yet with no chair, I wouldn't have been able to work anyway. Some of this is understandable, given the price. But even then,...
Read moreSo bad I would give a zero if i could but sadly i cant, the rooms were absolutely disgusting, the beds had stains that looked sickening, there were ants everywhere, the bathroom reeked of a horrid smell, and even the furniture was starting to mold. The service promised us a refund for our bad experience but when we asked for our refund we were denied and told no. The location was decent but the online website was completely different then the real thing. The online website shows there is a nice clean room with a kitchen but there was none. It was such a horrible experience and the sight was horrendous. This hotel can give a horrible impression of all small hotel businesses in Vietnam and the fact that all the pictures online make the experience feel so much worse. If you are looking for a bad experience then you should come to this hotel with bad service and repulsive smelling rooms with...
Read moreDO NOT BOOK HERE!! I arrived at 8pm to check in and the lady on reception took my booking number then told me that there were no rooms available as they only had 2 rooms left, both with a ‘power outage’. I asked what she could do and after a lot of backwards and forwards over google translate due to language barriers she simply said I’d have to find somewhere else. I had booked this hotel many weeks in advance, already paid for it and can’t believe the hotel didn’t bother to contact me to inform me that I would need to find alternative accommodation so I was left to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute at a higher cost. I’ve seen similar experiences on google reviews but looks like I may have had a lucky escape based on reviews from people who have stayed and shared their rooms with...
