I've reserved 4 rooms at this hotel on a last minute spontaneous trip with my family from Tay Ninh (we couldn't find any other accommodations due to it being a very last minute trip). Honestly, This location is wonderful, the hotel has amazing potential. But let me tell you:

The listing stated "complimentary shuttle service," we requested shuttle at 8AM for pick up at 2:30PM and was denied due to not enough time to arrange a 16 seater van. Which can be understandable.

The route to this hotel is through a dark "alley" street. So do not expect a grand extrance.

We checked into our rooms and of the 4 rooms 2 rooms had to be switched to a different room due to: broken shower door. And another with a dripping AC unit and creaking shower door.

Of the two room changes, one of the new room had a horrible odor, it was described as rotten flesh, the odor came out of the restroom.

Not to mention a third room had poor AC. I've requested maintenance twice and was not fixed. So my two sons and I stayed in this third room without good AC. They did not have any other rooms to switch us to.

The dining room for the breakfast buffet is a living nightmare. Breakfast and any other table for food storage had black mildew stains all over. Not a big selection of food offered, which is fine, BUT, when looking at the food on it was nothing near appetizing. So my sons and I have been eating scrambled eggs and bread each morning. The drink dispensers as well as some of the food warmers look like they've been there for decades.

Although we were there in June, and supposedly the beach isn't good for swimming, BUT you can tell if a place has kept up with their private beach area or not. There were trash everywhere on the sand.

DESPITE ALL THESE FLAWS, I THOUGHT TO MYSELF, "OKAY YOU GET WHAT YOU'VE PAID FOR." BUT THEY'VE BROKEN THE LAST STRAW WHEN THEY;

STOPPED US on our way out to explore and showed us a nicely folded towel and said that there is a stain on the towel and that they can't remove the stain, so we will be charged for it. I took a look at the towel and was furious. The stain was hardly seen. I mean it was BARELY there!!! (After conversing with the staff, they ended not charging us for the towel). We met another family who stayed at the same resort shared that they've experienced the exact same thing.

This incident made my family of 9 so afraid of using anything in the room, we're even afraid of entering our rooms. Imagine paying for a vacation that feels like walking on eggshells.

If you decide to stay here, please take before photos of every little spots and stains or any imperfections...

Of all the places I've stayed in Vietnam over the years this one probably comes out top. From the moment we stepped off the plane the staff were helpful, efficient and welcoming. We were greeted with smiles and organisation at every step of the way, and the staff not only helped us but anticipated our needs before we even asked. They even helped out with some first aid when I hurt myself. The amenities are wonderful for what you pay - the rooms are simple but comfortable, well equipped and clean. We stayed right on the beach and the view from our room was spectacular.

The food was also delicious and well priced compared to the rest of the island. Many of our friends ended up eating and drinking here on numerous days. The bar and restaurant do close relatively early though, which is great for guests as it avoids noise late into the night. The breakfast is great too - simple Vietnamese style food.

The location is fantastic - super central and has the perfect beach for relaxing and swimming.

One small improvement they could make it to use less plastic waste. They put multiple straws in every drink and used too many plastic bottles.

While they do take credit cards and cash, if you're wanting to book a boat trip this will need to be paid for in cash.

Overall I would give them a 6/5 stars and would book here again in a heart beat. Thanks to Orange Resort for a...

If you want to cherish your precious time in Phu Quoc, I do not recommend this place.

When I went to the restaurant for breakfast, there was someone smoking indoors. Since I had a baby with me, I asked the staff to have them stop, but their response was, "He’s my boss." The person in charge of Orange Resort was smoking and having a video call in a place where smoking is prohibited.

Moreover, the person in charge of making warm omelets was constantly pre-making about ten at a time, so guests had no choice but to take cold omelets. Seeing guests taking cold omelets at a resort made me feel sad about the poor service they were receiving despite being on a vacation.

Trying to lift my spirits, I ordered juice at the bar, but the three staff members there looked at me and laughed. It was incredibly unpleasant.

Until the day before, I had been staying at Cassia Cottage, which costs 1,620,700 VND more per night. I moved here to save money, but I deeply regretted it.

Neither the boss nor any of the staff smiled, and none of the guests seemed happy either. In contrast, at Cassia Cottage, both staff and guests were all smiles, and the atmosphere was full of positive energy.

If you’re considering staying at Orange Resort, I strongly recommend paying a bit more to stay at Cassia Cottage instead. Choosing the cheaper option here will only leave you...

This hotel is perfect if you want to save some money and not too bothered about a couple of things being rough around the edges. The rooms are all clean & have everything you need, just at a lower standard than some other hotels on the island. The bathroom was adequate but take your own toiletries if you like a bit of luxury. If you're taking a laptop, the safe is too small for anything bigger than tablet size. The AC worked and we felt comfortable during the time we were in the room. There's a fridge to store any snacks or drinks you want to take to the beach. If you're looking for a room that you won't need to be in much and want direct and quick access to the beach this is the perfect location! It was 10 steps to our beachfront bungalow and the views were perfect. The breakfast was basic and not to our standard, but the restaurant on the beachfront has just reopened and seemed to have plenty of choices for lunch. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of beds, more beds are needed on the beach if it gets busier, but the staff were extremely helpful and would bring one down for you if necessary. All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly - they made sure everything was ok during our stay!

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights here. The location is very nice with a walking distance to the main road and they have their own beach. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always time for a "good morning" and "how are you?". The morning buffet isn't the best and could be improved with some more dishes and some fans, to make it more comfortable. Our room was located at the fare end of the beach, close to the main gate. If you have booked one of these rooms, prepare mosquito repellent spray! On our last day we decided to try the restaurant at the beach. The view is magnificent. But the food may be some of the worst you can get in Phu Quoc, even Vietnam. When confronted the manager, she argued and said "that how we do it here." We ordered calamari, spring rolls and seafood spaghetti. Don't get fooled, the images on the menu are from the Internet. So overall a very nice experience at Orange Resort, we will return here next time we visit PQ, but we will never order food from the restaurant again. Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rooms: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ F&B: 😅 I would give it an overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but the restaurant and the manager really hurt the business.

I loved the hotel. The ocean view rooms are about 10 steps from the beach! Mandy at the front desk is awesome! She is kind and smart and great at her job. Her English is very good, she organized many tours for us and everything was perfect. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and made to order eggs, nice French bread and croissants. The location was perfect. There were high end and casual restaurants within walking distance down the beach, cheap beach massages, everything you need. Pool looked lovely. The restaurant was good with perfect sunset views. We ate breakfast, lunches, dinners and drinks here and never got sick. There were multiple security guards on duty at all times to make you feel safe and hard the lawn chairs 😉💞. They had these super soft light weight robes in the room that I was totally in love with!
