Uncomfortable hotel for working class people.
Disadvantages:
Noisy Terrible room arrangements Unenthusiastic staff questionable food
Noisy: forget about sleeping in, the corridors aren't sound proof and the doors are made of paper. As a result you can hear a cleaning lady fart on the other side of the hotel. Kids running around shouting, cleaning staff chitchatting, baby crying next door for the whole night - that's the level of discomfort you get. You need to bring ear plugs if you plan to stay here.
Terrible room arrangement:
rooms lack evening light options, so either all the lights on or a very bright night stand lamp that gives the same amount of light, so if you like to read before sleep your significant other has to wear an eye cover or it's too bright otherwise.
AC is situated right above one of the bed sides, so one of you will be sleeping constantly being blown away, and getting a sore throat isn't the best option for a holiday.
Cups are the size made for a doll house. I mean a standard tea bag is bigger than the cup, why couldn't they just put a normal sized cup in the room is beyond my understanding. Had to add water 4 times to have a cup of watery tea which is terrible.
Beds were merged for us for some reason thus one side had access to power outlets, the other person had to find a way to charge their phone on the bed.
NO SAFE BOX in the room.
Bathrobes are for children. If you are a western male of an average size these bathrobes won't do you any good.
There are tiny ants in the room. Idk where they are coming from.
Staff: doesn't speak English well, seems quite agitated when asked for help and pretty much doesn't really come back on requests.
We got food poisoning after eating breakfast, I threw up further than I could see, sore bones, diarrhea, body weakness. 4 people in our group got it, all four ate eggs, butter and bread for breakfast. Go figure which one was it.
Breakfast is served till 9am. Wtf 😂
Other amenities don't matter as this hotel struggles to provide the basics for a comfortable stay.
Advantages:
Close to the beach (50 m) Close to the shopping/restaurant street...
Read moreDisappointed is an understatement. What a disgraceful hotel. We have travelled all around Vietnam and this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed. The service was shocking. When we arrived it was chucking it down with rain so much so that we got drenched within the time it took us to grab our bags out of the taxi and walk to the hotel. No help with bags, no compassion or offer of an umbrella. We then go to check in to which we arrived half an hour after check in time and ended up having to wait 30 mins sitting in soaking wet clothes because our room wasn’t ready, at 2:30? The staff are miserable and offer no sign of willingness to help. Our A/C wasn’t working and a gent came out to look at it when my boyfriend asked him a question about how to work it the guy completely ignored him. My boyfriend went on to ask him 2 more time giving him the benefit of the doubt that he had misheard him but he continued to ignore us and walked out we were in shock. We then had rain on our last two days to which our balcony door was leaking quite a lot of water into our room. Did we complain no, because we don’t like to make a mountain out of a molehill. We simply put a towel down on the floor and we have just gotten charged on check out because we used the towel. I cannot believe how ridiculous this hotel is. 1 problem you can get over it but all of these things put together is ridiculous. Honestly, it is not worth staying here this was our last hotel before we head back home and you have ruined being able to enjoy the end of our trip. Honestly the most friendly person in the hotel was the head chef who stands at the buffet. Although I must say the buffet is not the best selection and pretty basic we ate out most days because it was that bad...
Read moreThe service was so bad. They made us pay for things thay we didnt even do. First of all, the towels are provide to clean our body so the hotel have to know that it can be dirty after use.
I’m not saying the case that those towels are extremely made dirty on purpose.
My family and other people in the tour were carelessly left a small stain on a towel which can be washed easily BY JUST WATER, no detergent or any washing liquid was used. And we can prove that those stains are washable. But the receptionist insisted on forcing us to pay for those things and they didn’t even try to wash it, they made their customer to wash the towel by themselves until they’re all clean or else they gonna charge us 200 vnd. THAT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY . Also, some of the customers in my tour asserts that they didnt even use the towels. That means, THOSE TOWELS WERE ALREADY DIRTY AT THE BEGINNING!!!. And the receptionist still slander them and force them to pay for things that they didnt even do. They even call those stains BLOOD.
200 VND is not that expensive that we couldn’t pay for it. But this is about right and wrong. They treated us like bad people who hit and go. Again: Cleaning IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY Receptionist altitude was extremely offensive We pay for the room which means we also pay for the services and cleaning chores. We should not be made cleaning anything.
I’m so mad because of how they treat us.
I’m not sure if the workers were trying to take advantages of the hotel’s rules to serve themselves or not, but this is so unreasonable and unacceptable.
I hope the hotel can give us the explanation and a clear solution for this situation.
Such a bad experience and never come...
