Exceeded Expectations… Amazing Value, Great Service, and Super Convenient!
We had such a wonderful stay at VinHolidays Phu Quoc and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the island, especially families, couples, or even solo travelers who want a comfortable and well-connected home base at a fantastic price point.
From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly and felt thoughtfully arranged. One of the biggest perks is the free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel (and back), super convenient and well-organized. We didn’t have to worry about booking a Grab or taxi after a long flight, which was a huge relief. The bus was clean, air-conditioned, and right on time.
Check-in at the hotel was quick and easy. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. While this hotel is considered one of the more budget-friendly options within the Vinpearl complex, the service felt anything but “budget.” Everyone we interacted with was professional and welcoming.
Our room was clean, bright, and modern… much better than we expected for the price. The bed was super comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spotless. The design is minimalist but still cozy, and we slept really well every night.
One thing we especially loved was the free shuttle bus from the hotel to VinWonders and back. It was super easy to hop on and off, and it made visiting the amusement park totally stress-free. No need to worry about transport, it’s all coordinated, and the system is very reliable. The shuttle also goes to Grand World and other Vinpearl attractions, which made it easy to explore everything in the area without needing to rent a motorbike or car.
Breakfast was included, and while the buffet was not massive, it had a good variety, both Vietnamese and Western options. We enjoyed the pho, fresh fruits, and coffee every morning. It’s enough to get your day started without having to look elsewhere for food first thing in the morning.
The hotel itself is located inside the Vinpearl complex, so you have access to lots of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. Even though VinHolidays doesn’t have a big pool or beach like the other Vinpearl resorts, it more than makes up for it with convenience, cleanliness, and value. If you want, you can still explore nearby luxury resorts and even book a spa day or meal there.
Another thing we appreciated was how safe and quiet everything felt. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, and you can tell the staff care about keeping everything in good shape.
In short: this hotel is a hidden gem if you’re looking to stay within the Vinpearl area without spending a fortune. The room was lovely, the staff were helpful, and the free shuttle services made everything incredibly convenient. It felt like we got way more than what we paid for.
We’ll definitely be recommending VinHolidays Phu Quoc to our friends and family, and we’d absolutely...
Read moreI stayed at Vin Holiday Fiesta for 3 nights in March 2022. It was a 3 star hotel only. Here are the positive points. The room size was comfortable and clean. Staff were very polite, helpful and professional. From receptionist to housekeepers, restaurant staff and others, when never I met them, they were all nodded and smiles. If I engaged the conversation, they always said "Have a good day" at the end. 5 stars were for the staff. I only had breakfast buffet at the Acosta restaurant. It was nice and clean place. Food choices were not huge but good enough to fill me up to start a day. Staff took away dirty dishes and reset the table very quickly. Upon checking in, my in room safe did not work. I called the lobby and less than 2 minutes, a young men showed up at the door and fixed the issue right away. Next, the AC did not work probably. It gave cool air but not cold. I called again then less than 2 minutes another young technician showed up. His name was Phuoc. He was a sweet and helpful guy. He identified the issue and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. Quickly resolved the problems for the guest has demonstrated an excellent customer service. Location was also another good point for the hotel. Right outside the hotel was a night market and plenty of restaurants, massage and coffee shops. There were no cars from outside could come in to the complex ground. So it was so nice to walk around in the clean and traffic free area. The Safari, VinWonders and Corona casino were very near by. The hotel also provided free electric car (tuk tuk) to drive you around. Drivers were very polite and helpful too. The beach was about 7 minute walk from the hotel. There was a lifeguard there and lockers for guests to keep their personal stuff while swimming. The water in the ocean was warm and the beach was very clean. It was like a private beach for hotel guests only. Now come to the not so great points. Although there was plenty empty space on the wall, but there was no towel racks installed in the bathroom. Only 1 hook behind the door. If you wanted to reuse the towel, u had to hang it over the shower glass door. All towels were left on the desk. To me, this was a design flaw. Also, there was only one outlet near the bed which was for the lamp. If I wanted to charge my phone, I had to unplug the lamp or went under the desk (should be above the desk) to plug in the charger. It was a very strange design. To me, the staff attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond had made up for all the minor issues. I would recommend this hotel if you want to relax and enjoy walking around when you are...
Read moreTitle: Disappointing Family Experience at Vinholidays Fiesta Phu Quoc for Parents with Young Kids
I recently stayed at Vinholidays Fiesta Phu Quoc and was quite disappointed with several aspects of my visit.
The room charges for 2 adults with 2 breakfasts were 1,296,000 VND, yet they charged 280,000 VND for my 4-year-old child without providing any extra bed, towel, pillow, or breakfast. If I wanted breakfast for my child, it would cost an additional 130,000 VND. This means they effectively charged 410,000 VND for a young child, which I find unreasonable. These charges were not clearly listed on Booking.com, and when I raised this with the staff, they blamed the booking platform instead of taking responsibility.
Additionally, the hotel has strict rules, such as not hanging clothes on the balcony, which felt excessive. To enter the breakfast area, they also use face detection, which felt unnecessary and invasive.
At the swimming pool, they provide towels, but you must leave them behind when you exit the area; you cannot use them to cover yourself until you reach your room. This gives the impression that they are overly concerned with rules, which is not relaxing for a family getaway.
On the cleanliness front, I encountered stained towels, and the bathroom maintenance was lacking. The room only had toilet paper and no tissue paper, which was inconvenient. They also didn’t offer tissue paper on the tables during breakfast, although the food itself was okay.
Regarding transportation, the hotel offered a shuttle that was actually just free public transportation. This required a transfer from one bus stop to another and took 1.5 hours to get from the hotel to the airport—double the time it would take to call a Grab. Furthermore, the buses were often full after 4 PM, and passengers were likely required to stand.
They offered free welcome drinks in the lobby, but guests could only get one if they were there from 3:00 to 3:30 PM, which felt quite limited.
On a positive note, the staff were generally helpful and polite, which made some aspects of our stay more pleasant.
The only other positives were the location and the children's playhouse and swimming facilities, which my family enjoyed.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve the experience for...
