Teddy Bear Museum – A Whimsical, Cool Wonderland in Phu Quoc
The Teddy Bear Museum in Grand World Phu Quoc is a magical place dedicated to the adventurous, funny, and sometimes heroic lives of teddy bears. This is not just a simple display of plush toys — it’s a full experience with interactive exhibits, storytelling, and humor wrapped in fur.
The museum is themed around the character “Teddy Jones”, an adventurous explorer bear, and showcases his fictional journeys through time and around the world. Opened in 2021, this is Southeast Asia’s first teddy bear museum, covering a space of over 1,500 square meters and housing over 500 teddy bear exhibits.
Inside, you’ll find entire rooms filled with creative scenes: • Bears working in mines • Bears playing football • Bears hiking in the mountains • Giant bears bigger than people — perfect for hugging or photo ops • Animated bears that move, climb, and interact with their environment • Iconic bear paintings like “Bear Napoleon” or a “Bear Mount Rushmore”
Whether you’re a child or just young at heart, there’s something amusing at every corner. Kids will absolutely love it — from plush towers to bear caves and cozy forest corners.
One charming detail is that museum staff wear little teddy bear sculptures on their heads — a quirky and fun touch that fits the museum’s vibe. Everyone working there is friendly and makes the experience even more enjoyable.
At the end of the visit, there’s a large souvenir shop full of teddy-themed items — plush toys of all sizes, keychains, T-shirts, and more. Your ticket (around €10) also includes a free iced coffee at the attached cafe, which is a lovely bonus.
Another great thing: inside the museum, the temperature is kept at around 24°C, which is a perfect break from the tropical heat of Phu Quoc.

Read moreWhen visiting Phu Quoc it is well worth spending half a day exploring Grand World at the VinWonders Resort. The Teddy Bear Museum is one of the few ‘pay to enter’ attractions here. It is well worth attending if you are at Grand World. We had already purchased tickets online however the museum was very quiet, even on a Saturday afternoon, so this is not generally necessary.
The Teddy Bear Museum is a fun walk around exhibition featuring dioramas and larger than life bear figures that have been beautifully curated. Given the huge size of the grand building we were surprised how quickly we finished looking at everything. 25-35mins is all it takes to see the museum. There is also a small cafe on the ground floor but they didn’t have half of the menu in stock, just some drinks. Overall, for the small entry fee it’s worth a look around the fun exhibits and was a very welcomed break from the outdoor heat.
Getting to the Grand World resort is very easy as free electric busses run to all major hotels on the West of the island (at roughly 20min intervals) and there are a lot of other free shows, instagramable spots and restaurants around the rather large site. There is also a nice free beach with a bar that you can easily access at the end of...
Read moreThe Phu Quoc Teddy Bear Museum is an absolute delight for anyone with a soft spot for adorable vibes! Its unique UFO-shaped building is a total eye-catcher, and inside, over 500 teddy bears dressed as cultural icons from around the world—think Egyptian pharaohs to Vietnamese Ao Dai—create a vibrant, Instagram-worthy experience. Perfect for families and kids, the museum’s detailed displays, cool air-conditioned environment, DIY workshops, and themed café add to the fun. While the museum is on the smaller side, taking about an hour to explore, the ticket price is reasonable (even better with online discounts!). Pair it with a gondola ride or the Vietnamese Essence Show at Grand World for a fulfilling half-day itinerary. It might feel a bit simple for non-teddy bear enthusiasts, but overall, it’s a charming, relaxing stop. Highly recommend for a...
