We stayed at Evergreen, after it had been recommended to us by a friend. We had not seen the place, and did not know what to expect. ||We were so pleased when we arrived. The garden is lovely - set back from the road and very quiet. Obviously a lot of effort has gone into making it look lovely. First off, there is an awesome stone pool, surrounded by shady places to lounge or sit. There are lovely trees and green grass - it’s a piece of paradise. ||Our room was very spacious, compared to others nearby. We travelled with 2 children (8&4) and we had plenty of space. The room had a queen and a super single bed, which was great. It also had a decent-sized bathroom and shower... super with a family. Also, a good sized fridge, which is helpful for kids.||Breakfast is chosen off a menu, and met everyone’s needs. We chose to eat in the back garden near our room, as it was quieter than the street-side restaurant, but that also was nice. ||Great wifi - I took several video calls for work, and that was great. And a great little dog called Pepsi. ||Overall, it’s hard to fault. Obviously a business run by people who truly care about service, and going the extra mile for...
Read moreWe stayed here for a week. What a beautiful little hotel! The gardens are amazing, with seating areas, hammock, reading area, sun beds. This is luxury at a budget price. Our room overlooking the beautiful pool and gardens was compact, but modern and clean and fully functional with excellent WiFi. There were a few limitations, like a single tea bag and a single shower gel for 2 people for the week, but these are minor things. The breakfast was basic from a choice of options that set us up for the day. We hired a moped through the hotel and the owner handled all our requests readily. The hotel would be even better if it had an operational bar and restaurant, but the location of the hotel is central to restaurants and bars anyway. If we ever return to Mui Ne, we would definitely return to this little piece...
Read moreThis guesthouse is frequented mostly by Vietnamese families (often a family unit of 6 to 8 people staying in one room -- the rooms have many beds to cater to these). Hardly any European or foreigners stay here. Most of the Vietnamese families would frolic nosily in the small pool at the back. Breakfast has very very limited options (no buffet): just noodles and a drink. At first I was offered a room where the door lock did not work and the place had musty odor. Then I was upgraded to a bigger room (one of their best) with two double beds and one king-size bed. There was a jacuzzi but it did not work, and the shower water was just a slow drizzle. A technician fixed it, but it was still a weak shower.||Mui Ne has a lot of resort hotels everywhere, many are pricey. For Evergreen, you get what...
