Mui Ne Garden Guesthouse — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

We booked it originally for 3 nights, but left after the 1st. The room was dirty and smelled like mould. Everywhere were small animal dirt and it just looked like they don't care. We talked to the owner and she canceled our reservation on booking. We had to pay the booking fee anyway. Generally the garden was nice and the apartment was also ok, but it just seemed like they don't really care about cleaning. Also when we said that we don't like the room, because it was dirty and smelly they did not ask if they could clean it. They offered us a new room and the 2 other rooms we saw were less smelly but still not clean at all. If you don't care about cleaniness it might be fine, but we could not stay there longer, even we paid half a night for cancellation. The owner was always polite, so we cannot complain about that. It is just sad, that they don't care about cleaning a room before people check-in or afterwards. The location is 10mins walking up/down a hill...

The room was 'clean', but quite old-fashioned. Wires of electricity here and there, a bit of a smell. Couldn't understand the fantastic pictures that were placed on Booking. The cleaning woman looks a bit suspicious because when we left the rooms, it was like she kept an eye on us. (edit: now reading reviews and read that one family got their money stolen, maybe the instinct was right, good we locked all cases with certified TSA locks)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They did forget something in our room, but when asking for it at the reception, it got delivered immediately.

Would recommend? Maybe. There are also a lot of other locations around where you could take a peek at. We have been checking different resorts for days and that gave us a good view for...

Well, I made booking for one night only with intention to stay for a few days. Unfortunately, there is ongoing construction at the property! Please be aware the builders start working at 6.30 am. It is construction on early stage , so at least another few months of noise and disturbance. The management of the property as soon as they realised that I'm going to post bad review on booking.com ,has marked with booking.com as I'm not show at the property and cancel booking, regardless that I stayed overnight and paid for it !All to abort my right to post appropriate review, which was very rude.Dodgy and greedy owner, trying to have Guest and carry on noisy construction at...
