Everything was ok until when we checked out and the staff started shouting at us that the towels are dirty and that they won’t be able to wash them and reuse them. We never took the towels outside the room but we did indeed got a bit dirty in the red sand dunes and used the towels after the shower so it’s possible that they got dirty with the sand. However, this should be taken into account considering one of the main tourist attractions in the area is the RED SAND dunes. I loved this place. The staff are very kind, friendly and supportive. The location is great, within walking distance to the beach, shops, and food. We got sands from the beaches and from the sand dunes so we kinda brought it back to the room undesirably. But the room was always made-up again nicely the next day as per request. Just on the toilets and bathroom, since they’re outside, so no AC. It was alright for us because we came during February. I could imagine during peak summer it would be quite hot. Love the family feel. Lovely spotless, well appointed bungalow style rooms with a garden concept bathroom. I love the dog, Bon, who always gives a great welcome 🤣 She seems to like being part of the experience and will sit in your porch keeping you company no bother. Then the cat, a saved abandoned kitten. She's also great, but on her terms 🤣. A great place with a home vibe. The one negative is the new Waikiki bar nearby, the dull bass might bother a light sleeper. It goes on until 12.30 at times. The over the fence karaoke is ok unless you want to...
