Nhà Nghỉ Hồng Di — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

This is our third time stay at Hong Di Bungalows. This place is a little gem. For $15.00 per night we got a private bungalow about thirty or so meters away from the beach. The rooms are simple, but pretty clean. Comfortable double bed, fridge, AC, bathroom and a little area to sit out front. The bungalows are surrounded by trees which give the area a lot of shade to escape the heat. (They will let you eat some fruit off them as well) There are a few hammocks around as well. The area is pretty quite so is nice to get stuck into a book or take a nap.|The staff are all friendly. There are a few that speak english, but everyone has been super helpful. The owner/manager is a great laugh. She will sit outside and chat with you for ages. Jumping out from behind something as you walk by. (We had a battle on who could get the most scares) She is an absolute sweetheart. Making sure you've eaten and if not she will cook you something. |I couldn't recommend this place more. Had a great experience at this guesthouse. Stayed a total of 5 days. Recommended by a friend and wasn't disappointed at all. Quiet. Rooms closer to the ocean looked older than the unit I was staying in. Very clean, spacious and confortable beds. Was able to negociate the price for the room. Good wifi. Flexible owners. Front gate is locked at night, but use the buzzer and there's always going to be somebody to open up. Owners don't try to rip you with their food or drinks. Super close to the fairy stream and the busiest town market by motorbike. Motorbike for rent available. The worst experience in my life, had to change the hotel at night. The rule of this place is no noise after 11. In reality nobody cares. Absolutely drunk Vietnamese tourists, horrible shouts, noise. First the owner said that they would stop in 5 minutes. But after midnight they went to the store to buy new alcohol, and became even louder. The guard couldn't do anything and said that he wouldn't wake up the owner. The most horrible place in my life. Never, never, never recommended. Dirty hole with terrible attitude. But at least if you are going to drink the whole night this place is for you. Here you can drink, shout, sing songs the whole night. Nobody will tell...
