A Sunday in August cafe — Restaurant in Phan Thiết City

I came here in the morning for two takeaway coffees. I’ve had coffee here before and enjoyed it, which is why I came back. Unfortunately, I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a cafe in my life.

The staff member working completely ignored me when I entered, continuing to tidy up and slowly prepare baked goods without acknowledging me. After waiting around 4 minutes, I politely said hello and asked if I could get two coffees to go. Her only response was, “No ice.”

I stepped outside briefly to check with my friend if that was okay, and while I was out, my friend overheard her badmouthing me. I’m honestly shocked, all I did was come in to order coffee.

Based on other reviews, it seems this female staff member has a problem with Westerners, and sadly, I can now confirm that experience. Absolutely terrible service and a disappointing way to start the day. I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t...

Firstly the greeting!

What great energy - a welcome like that instantly puts you in the spirit for filling your tummy with some wonderful coffee and breakfast and - it didn’t disappoint!

The coffee: Try the Signature Iced with extra caramel. Wow!

Then I had the Avocado and Salmon Bruschetta and again, just so good, presentation, taste and value 💯

Finally I washed it all down with a Blueberry Yoghurt Macchiato just to settle the jangly coffee belly.

The menu is well stacked with plenty to choose from, the service is well timed, there was just the one staff but the young lady managed well considering there were 5 of us in house.

It’s got a typical beachy vibe and it’s very peaceful here so it i well worth the visit even if it’s just to get the greeting, if that doesn’t set you up for the day the food certainly...

Điểm cộng: không gian rộng rãi, decor quán nhẹ nhàng dễ chịu, trình bày món ăn bắt mắt, nhân viên dễ thương thân thiện.

Điểm trừ: chất lượng món ăn đồ uống quá tệ! Tô bơ vị nhạt nhẽo như ăn đá xay nhuyễn có vị bơ vậy, bơ chưa chín nên bị đắng dù mình đã phải nhờ nhân viên xay lại thêm sữa vào giúp. Bánh mì cũng ko ngon; quán có máy pha cà phê nhưng bạn mình gọi cà phê sữa thì lại đc phục vụ cà phê trộn pha phin?? bạn mình ghiền cf mà dở quá bỏ nguyên ly luôn. Trong 4 món order thì chỉ có latte của mình uống tạm ổn. Quan trọng là mình và bạn mình đều bị đau bụng sau khi ăn sáng ở quán!

Quán cà phê kèm ăn sáng có giá thành cao hơn so với các quán phục vụ khách nước ngoài mình từng trải nghiệm trong khu vực, bên cạnh chăm chút không gian ra quán nên xem lại menu và chất lượng sản phẩm cho xứng đáng giá tiền nhé!

Before coming here, I read the reviews which seemed quite good, but only after visiting did I realize how bad the service quality was! The prices are for foreigners, but the food quality is worse than a roadside stall in Vietnam.

Pros: Spacious area, cozy and relaxing decor, beautifully presented dishes, friendly and approachable staff.

Cons: The quality of food and drinks is terrible! The avocado smoothie was bland, like eating crushed ice with a hint of avocado. The avocado was unripe and bitter, even after asking the staff to blend it again with more milk. The bread was also not good. Although the cafe has a coffee machine, my friend ordered a coffee with milk and was served drip coffee instead? My friend is a coffee addict but gave up on this one completely for its bad taste. Out of the 4 items ordered, only my latte was okay. The most important thing is that we both had stomachaches after breakfast at the cafe!

This cafe, which also serves breakfast, has higher prices compared to other cafes catering to foreigners in the area. Besides paying attention to the ambiance, the cafe should try harder to improve its menu and product quality to...
