The BAY Sports Bar — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

This is by far the best place we have stayed on our travels around Vietnam, it has such a homely, welcoming feel. The hosts here are kind, attentive and helped us out massively. Karen, Sam and Phi go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect with everything you need. We loved the place and area so much we stayed another night. ||This place has rooms on the ground floor out the back of the bar. The rooms are clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. We stumbled upon The Bay Sports Bar because of the happy hour special. We own a bar in Canada and really enjoy trying cocktails as we travel. We ordered the 2:1 Mojito which was made traditionally by muddling mint, sugar, lime and rum together. It was tasty! We ordered one more round as we enjoyed our convo so much with the bartender, his name is Knew! He’s so sweet, beautiful big smile and so far along our 6 week trip, THE BEST ENGLISH!! The bathrooms were actually super clean! Toilet paper, soap & felt clean. We’ve booked the hotel as we enjoyed our drinks and round of pool/darts. Thanks for your hospitality! Absolutely wonderful local sports bar at the beach to watch all international sport matches around the clock.

The owner/operator, Nhieu is a fantastic gentleman and opened up early for us at 7am to watch The Stanley Cup Hockey Finals.

Fully stocked bar and high quality Western/Vietnamese food menu serves breakfast and sports bar food favorites along with authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Nhieu is a gracious and generous host with great service and rich conversation from a local perspective……..not to mention, the dude really knows his international sports!!

Will definitely drop by again next time we visit the area…….great neighborhood beach bar...
