Phong nha Green homestay — Hotel in Quảng Bình Province

Amazing homestay in the heart of Phong Nha! From picking us up at the train station to giving us a room to rest and shower at 6am before check-in, to giving us a beautiful two bedroom suite with strong WiFi and AC, to doing all of our laundry and returning same day, to organizing tours and rides, to a gorgeous pool, to great breakfast - this smiling and happy team of beautiful warm hosts do it ALL! Location is ideal right in the middle of town, walking distance to all restaurants, shops, and even Phong Nha Cave! But what makes this place truly special is the people. Always texting to check in with us, make sure we are okay, see if we need anything. The night before we left my son injured himself and we ran to the front, panicked, and asked for a doctor. Within minutes the host had my son and I on her motorbike driving to the local medical office where he was treated immediately. The host then refused to let me pay for medical service (and I want to clarify that my son’s injury had NOTHING to do with the homestay) and then drove us directly to the pharmacy where she translated and got us everything we needed. We were so grateful and humbled by such genuine concern and care - simply out of the kindness of their hearts. I cannot recommend this homestay and the beautiful hosts enough. They truly embody the warmth of this country and culture, and are part of what makes Vietnam so...

We spent three nights at Phong Nha Green Homestay. We really enjoyed our stay there. It's on the main road, close to supermarkets, restaurants and Phong Nha Cave. The room (ours was on the top floor) was very large, very clean and had air conditioning. We had very comfortable beds and a bathroom with a hot shower! For breakfast you can choose a dish and a drink from the menu. You should try the banana pancake! It was so good 😍 But the best part was the family who ran the homestay. They were so friendly and helpful. And the owner had the cutest smile and good energy. And even if they don't speak English, they'll do their best to help and understand you. And you can always use Google translator to translate into Vietnamese :) You can also book tours and bus tickets with them. We didn't book the tour with him and that was totally fine, he wasn't offended or anything. And they have motorbikes for rent for a cheap price :) So we can definitely recommend...

The location is perfect, directly in the middle of the central street with good food options next door (and the homestay itself serves food). Through the homestay we rented a bike for 3 days and we booked bus tickets. The room itself is very nice and modern with one of the comfiest beds we have slept on in vietnam, the shower is also good and we always had lots of hot water. The aircon was also good. The breakfast is tasty and you get a choice of eggs/omlette/ or banana pancakes. The view from the room and pool is super beautiful as you can see lots of mountains.

What makes this place really special is the family who are very friendly and are always there to help you. They let us check in early and check out late, and also waited with us to make sure we got on our night bus okay.
