We chose this hotel because of the reviews of how friendly the manager was, and we were not disappointed. We arrived at his door at 6am with no booking, and he took care of us and stored our bags. Me and my husband came down with the stomach flu, and he pointed us to nearby pharmacies, helped us with English-fluent advice on medicines, offered to make us soup every time we saw him, and bought us some instant soup packets that we could make in our room and turned out to be the absolute perfect thing to help, becoming the only thing we ate for a full day. When I came for towels late in the night to cool my husband’s fever, he offered a tip with oil and warm rags that worked to cure the fever. Once we recovered, we were on our way out the door on a cold drizzly day and my husband didn’t have a coat, and this man literally gave him the coat off his back.
I can tell he went into the hotel business because he cares about people, and we could feel it at our stay. I have no idea what we would have done on our trip to Sapa without him.
Hotel Snow is a hidden gem, clean, and beautifully decorated and designed, and is worth 5 stars for the business...
Read moreEverything was great, the room, hotel location and the staff was very friendly . But the owner promised us the trip with guide and then we were very disappointed. Instead of that we got a taxi driver , who didn't speak English, so it was very difficult to understand. We would like to see local places what he promised. Instead, we stopped at touristy places. And for a lower price , you get a better trip with lunch , for example on Get Your Guide. I definitely don't recommend the trip from this hotel. The driver took us to a very, very cheap , unclean pub , where we got soup that gave us digestive problems for several days. The trip definitely wasn't worth the money . To be honest , I think it was overpriced . Definitely be carefully...
Read moreWe had an awesome time at Sapa Snow Hotel. The rooms are large and quiet, facilities abound (hot water, fridge, kettle, etc.). The location is close enough to the party areas but far enough to enjoy a quiet night. The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the busstation. But what stood out most was the hospitality of the owner. Always available to give out information and very hospitable. When we came it was not too busy so we could enjoy dinner with him and his family. We did had one of the best springrolls (and we have many in Sapa) at this place. We would highly recommend this place. Especially if you want a personal touch...
