very disappointing ... first of all from the pictures you see on bookings, google and others do not reflect at all the same feeling once you arrived mostly when it is considered as a 4 stars hotel.
1st issue: The master bed room was very good but the 2nd bedroom is very disappointing for this standing. The 2nd does not have window and it feels more like being in jail once we closed all the doors than being in a 4 stars hotel
2nd issue: no aircons for two days, the aircons worked but not much cold air were coming out from the airconditioner, luckily the master bed room had the ceiling fan which compensated but didnt help my family to sleep well, we opened the balcony the whole day so noticing the aircon issue was not straight away.
the 2nd bedroom was a nightmare combined with no windows and no aircons, i was on this room, but we arrived back home late , my airconditioning was working but not much cold neither but enough to fall asleep quick as we had a long day and we were very tired.
only we noticed when woke up in morning that aircons were very weak, indeed we didnt notify the reception for the first day. however the second day, we arrived back home late again, and this time both aircons and living room included were not working at all, we called at 10pm and at 11pm, someone from reception came to gave us another key of another room as we were being told that the whole level of the floor 15th is having airconditioning problem since two days, well they knew? but didnt matter to come check on us to make sure everything was OK , so they put the blame on us because we didnt call reception, but anyway when we checked out, i went to tell my complain, and apparently the manager all he can do was to give us fruits and biscuits to compensate for this issue, really? that is not really what we expecting to get when we have room issue while staying in a 4 stars hotel. Then they tried to offered us a tea time and snack time at the restaurant while we were checking out and on our way back to saigon, but keep insisting us to go get tea time and snacks but we already had a late breakfast at that time 11am and we didnt feel hungry or thirsty anymore. I insisted that I'm expecting a discount at least on our 2 nights stay in there but they offered a 15% discount for our next visit which make me unhappy that they told me they will send me this voucher on my email that i will be able to use on my next visit. i told them i do not need that, either fruits, biscuits and 15% discount on next visit. we had 2 very unpleasant days of stay at fusion and i was expecting a discount on our stay. the staff at the reception did their best and tried their best to sort it out but apparently the manager was firm and said NO, and only thing he could do is to give us discount next visit, and free tea time and snacks with fruits .... lol very compensating indeed, they did insist on the tea and fruits but who care about that honestly?
they asked my email, i said, do not give me discount, i do not want it, if you don't give discount on the 2 nights we stayed, no worries, we will just leave and i will leave a review on our experiences at fusion .
the staff were all great to be honest, good service, and the buffet with the view was good with good selection of food and breakfast.
the swimming pool rooftop was disappointing, not chilling and not confortable like u can see on pictures.
i often go vung tau and try many different resorts and hotels but i will not come back to fusion...

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning
We came hoping to check out the playground that’s been posted by the hotel on Facebook, only to be told upon arrival that it’s for residents only—something that wasn’t made clear in the promotional posts. It was around 11 a.m., and with the sun beating down, we decided to stay downstairs in the RC racing bar instead. That turned out to be underwhelming too: 50K for 30 minutes of RC car rental, but the controls were broken and the cars barely worked. Service was indifferent at best. Now, later I realized that it is the RC bar that they posted about on FB, so I don’t know why the doorman said it was for residents only.
Our toddler was hungry, so we ordered pastries, three drinks, and a pizza from the café at 11:03 a.m. While the pastries came quickly, the drinks took over 20 minutes—and this was with no other customers in the café. The only other group already had their drinks before we even arrived. When I asked about our drinks, the barista was busy eating behind the counter and mumbled something instead of giving a proper answer. Just so unprofessional.
The pizza, which was baked behind us, came out quickly and was the best part of our visit—not because it was amazing, but because everything else was so lacking. My black sesame mochiatto had stale sesame, and when the pizza arrived, no one gave us plates until I asked. That took another 5 minutes.
I understand this is a 4-star hotel with many glowing reviews online, but I seriously question how genuine those reviews are. One of the most recent 5-star reviews even mentions being asked by staff to leave a 5-star review—which makes me question the credibility of the rest. I could never, ever stay at a place where making three basic coffee drinks takes over 20 minutes, especially when there are no other customers to serve.
Overall, a very poor experience with bad service, questionable professionalism, and disappointing food...
Read moreWe stayed in Fusion Suites Vung Tau for a weekend escape to the beach with our big family. The hotel was nicely built with spacious room. We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment with extra sofa-bed for the 5th person. The amenities were nice. One of the best thing is the hotel rooftop swimming pool with the infinite view of the sea. here you can enjoy a glass of cocktail or a bottle of iced-cold beer and watch the sun go down on the horizon.
We loved the beds, very large and comfortable. Even the sofa bed was big and comfortable. The hotel helped us to set up the baby cot for my baby (21 months old). It was big and nice. He loved it and slept very well.
Fusion Suites Vung Tau is located in the city center, very near to the local restaurants. You can go by taxi to Ganh Hao restaurant or take a walk to Xom Luoi market (just behind the hotel). However, the food at the restaurant was also very nice, fresh with reasonable prices.
The hotel has two pools, one at the level 10 and one at the rooftop level. We love the rooftop one. Only one thing: quite small and quite crowded with people who want to enjoy the view and take photos.
The breakfast was very good with many choices of Asian and Western cuisine. It is from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. The staff was very nice and friendly. We came to breakfast for a quick snacks and then go to the pool and got back to breakfast for a late morning coffee. Staff was helpful to arrange the food for us.
Spa treatments were included in the room rates. All 5 adults enjoyed the spa. One tip: you should book the spa treatment in advance to secure your slots.
Family travel with grandparents and kids. Stayed in late March 2021. A very good choice for family travel. we will come back...
