Liked to try Banh Khot for the first time and choose this location depending on its ratings. According to the subject itself, it's really a fatty stuff. If you are not able to eat it by the traditional techniques but use any western style, it will end in a pretty mess. Nevertheless it tasted very good and your body can be cleaned in the restroom in the 1st floor, where soap is available. Next day you should be prepared for a diarrhea and shouldn't have any planned travel. If it is caused only by the horrible amount of fat or due to the unclean veggies (which is common for all restaurants in Vietnam) will remain the question. Talking about this with citizens, they recommended to eat this specialty preferred at Co Ba, because they fry with much less fat in comparison to all other...

My VN wife keep saying its famous here. Yeah its a one stop Vietnamese food, they have everything here. Yeah its famous many years back. The Review 3.5k wow! But the food banh khot is not really that wow and nice anymore. The fish sauce they provide is tasteless and dulitued. The standard have drop. You can eat the same elsewhere down the street with motorbike even better and tasty at Bánh khọt Cây Tre 60k-65k only. If you dont believe you can try compre yourself. The bun thit nuong is the worst food i have ever eat tasteless. Not up to my expectation. Staff cannot speak english and have attitude problem. Don't waste your time...

Terrible experience. We sat down to order banh khot, and within 10 seconds, it came out: cold! I demanded new ones, to be told "we make them before guests arrive because everyone order it." Very inconsiderate practice of a restaurant. The springrolls were awful: we ordered three, and didn't bother to eat it. I ripped them apart to show them how awful they were, with only a piece of lettuce and one piece of onion and all noodles. Awful. How can they sustain their business with such terrible food? Do they think guests are stupid to not know the low quality. Don't waste your time...
