Central Kitchen Armenia — Local services in Yerevan

I recently organized my son's 12th birthday celebration at Central Kitchen. It was an intimate family gathering—just 11 of us, including grandparents, siblings, and close relatives. Our guests ranged in age from 8 to 70, each with different interests and tastes.

I asked the Central Kitchen team to create an experience that would be enjoyable for everyone. You should have seen the puzzled expressions on some of the adults’ faces when they were told they would be cooking their own dinner! Some eagerly embraced the idea, while others were a bit hesitant at first—but in the end, everyone got involved.

We learned how to make an authentic Caesar salad dressing, fresh homemade tagliatelle with carbonara sauce, and a perfectly gooey lava cake. While we were busy cooking, Maga, the pastry chef, and Arayik, the head chef, worked their magic in the background, setting up a beautifully arranged dinner table.

And then, the moment of truth—when we finally sat down to enjoy the dishes we had prepared ourselves. Suddenly, it felt as if we had stepped into an elegant Italian restaurant, complete with soft background music, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Seeing everyone’s expressions of joy and pride was absolutely priceless.
