Mirzoyan Library, Yerevan, Armenia: When you finally tire of the Soviet-styled dominance of the city, duck into the very quirky, rundown but bohemian courtyard of Mirzoyan Library. It’s hard to imagine it was once an aristocratic building. It’s even harder to describe this spot, simply because there’s no other like it. It’s obviously a vintage spot - upcycling is evident everywhere. It’’s a library of sorts - bohemian stores, a library of the greatest photographic collection and an exhibition space. This is founded by Karen Mirzoyan, a Tbilisi born photographer doyen who captured shots for Newsweek, Time and Harpers. It’s the quintessential bohemian retreat for the city’s creatives and tourists too, by the sounds of the various accents I heard....

make sure they give change back My gf and I liked the Tolma and thought of going back to this place again. They add a 10% service fee which I think is fine but the waiter never brought our change back which I think is a dishonest. We couldn't find her and I'm not confrational by nature, I'll admit. I mean, maybe we would have decided to leave the change any way as it wasn't too much but I think the choice of leaving a tip ON TOP OF THE SERVICE FEE should be left to the customer instead of the change being withheld so it made us not want to go back in the end. I would like to give the server the benefit of the doubt as the bread was forgotten too so maybe they just forgot the change and they are just forgetful in general, then again it...

Unique Cafe in Historic Library, But Pricey

This cafe is located on the upper floor of an old library building, offering both an indoor seating area as well as a beautiful terrace overlooking the library's courtyard. The unique setting and decor, which features photos of an artist's studio on the walls, creates an interesting and atmospheric dining experience.

However, the main downside is that the menu pricing is quite expensive, making it less accessible. The drinks and food are served on vintage china dishware, which can be charming but may also have minor cracks or imperfections.

Another point to note is that smoking is permitted in the...

I was reading some reviews and I saw this: good place for reading your book or working with your laptop with having some coffee! It was exactly like this so don’t waste your money for ordering something else. The food was so simple and somehow tasteless. For having beer there was one option and it was 25$ Belgien bottle 😒 The prices are not reasonable! The only good thing that I found was the room with many books and pictures on the wall. I uploaded the menu for you before going over there.
