What a wonderful experience at the James St store. I’ve been to other Brisbane stores and had nearly given up on Kookai. Tabitha and Ella provided outstanding customer service - friendly, fun, authentic and helpful. But having said that all the staff were excellent. The store has a friendly, relaxed, positive vibe without the staff being OTT. I’ve found other stores the staff are either too intense, couldn’t care less or inauthentic. I walked in and appreciated the calm and kind approach of the ladies working there. I been greated by most of them with a warm smile. I had all the freedom and space to look for the items and not being pushed or followed by the ladies and this is the best feeling ever! But if I needed, I seen they been always present here and there. The sales assistants were also very knowledgeable about the items I enquired as well as stocks and locations of availability. lovely, open and spacious boutique! staff are lovely and helpful, would come here over the other kookai stores, it is a stand out shopping experience. my only critique would be the number of dressing rooms, may get busy on weekends.

beautifully designed with high ceilings and neutral decor. easy to navigate and browse, new and dressier items at the front while basics and some sale are at the back. seem to have a great range of items, ask staff for other sizes as they seem to not stock all of it...
