A lovely hill top park in Brisbane. There is bush regeneration being undertaken and clearly some of the original growth remains (see my picture of the tallest tree in the park) There are a couple of trails down to the the hillside to a picnic area and that bring you out onto the streets quite close to the Brisbane river boardwalk; and there are city bike bike racks there too. I wish I had know about this - nearly secret park - years ago. There are good views back to the city from the top and also out over the river towards Bulimba. Keep an eye out for bush turkeys, I saw one in the park and another down by the river crossing the road! Some classic old Brisbane homes back up at the ridge of the hill as well.
