It's ok for a short leisurely walk but for families, barbecue and playground. If your dog likes short walks this is nice but I wouldn't recommend for Husky owners or decent exercise. I didn't see an off leash dog park, but a toddlers pen. The bush walk are steep stairs and trails, so not great if you have bad, aching knees. No public toilets. It's a small decent park for the neighbourhood.

An interesting and small park with some pleasant forestry walks across several trails. Not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs, but good for taking the dog for a walk. There's a few heritage buildings on the outsides of the trails which were interesting and plenty of birdlife to see within the park.

Beautiful views of the city and a small rainforest walk that you wouldn't know was there, behind the woolstore building, so many heritage style buildings around the neighbourhood, definitely worth exploring.

A lovely hill top park in Brisbane. There is bush regeneration being undertaken and clearly some of the original growth remains (see my picture of the tallest tree in the park) There are a couple of trails down to the the hillside to a picnic area and that bring you out onto the streets quite close to the Brisbane river boardwalk; and there are city bike bike racks there too. I wish I had know about this - nearly secret park - years ago. There are good views back to the city from the top and also out over the river towards Bulimba. Keep an eye out for bush turkeys, I saw one in the park and another down by the river crossing the road! Some classic old Brisbane homes back up at the ridge of the hill as well. Google me to see more travel work on my website Kent...

Years later and still no toilets which is annoying esp because it's designed for younger kids who constantly need them...

Lots of shade! A bubbler/tap which is always good at a park, lots of equipment for different age groups and different playing abilities. It has 2 table and chairs under cover and a set of bins, only thing it...
