We stayed in a 2bed + 2bathroom apartment 112 for the last two nights. Location is great. Handy to walk to many places around the city. Close to the bus stop etc but that's it. HOWEVER! I found the place absolutely dirty and seemed unclean when we first walked in. Dirty and dust behind most doors, spider webs in corners of most rooms even had them all in the cupboard and over the ironing board, shower seemed to have a quick wipe down (did not appear thoroughly cleaned) and the worst part was a lopsided toilet seat with stale urine under the toilet seat featuring some lovely black pubes- which was absolutely heinous! No attempt at all to clean that. The WiFi was shocking, and most of us struggled to even connect, let alone stay connected without constant drop out. The walls mustve been thin as paper as you could hear talking (not loud talking just general talking) through the walls. Which was super frustrating in our bed that had to singles pushed together. This created a terrible line/lump through the middle of the mattress that was so damn uncomfortable. Honestly- I'd look elsewhere for accommodation. Apart from location, it isn't worth entertaining a night here.

I chose to stay at Atrio Apartments for seven consecutive nights in order to save time changing hotels. Luckily, Atrio Apartments fully met my expectations and needs. It’s just a 10 minutes walk from Fortitude valley station. Check in was smooth, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I stayed on the fifth floor, with a beautiful city view from the balcony. The apartment was spotless. Thanks to the amenities provided, I could do my laundry without leaving the apartment, even on a cold night. If you plan to cook, kitchen utensils ( induction hob, oven, refrigerator, microwave, etc ) are also provided. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is close to major attractions and easily accessible by train, bus, and ferry. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, we had a great time staying at Atrio apartments. The staff next door where you check in are very friendly and the apartment itself was huge. Dishwasher, fridge, oven (which was really gross, we wouldn’t have used it), microwave, kettle etc- it’s all there. Regarding the cleanliness of the apartment: we didn’t think it was too bad but the bathroom wall has mold on it and a few things in the kitchen were really dirty (pots and pans- thank god we brought our own). Other than that we can’t complain, loved our little balcony. It’s about a 10 min walk from the train station; Fortitude Valley. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby.

Booked with Miro where we have stayed before but this time they put us into Atrio. I guess Miro was full even though I booked 3 months ahead. I expect all the positive reviews here didn't stay on a Saturday night. The soundproofing is non existent. I got woken up constantly by different groups of people talking and laughing coming home after midnight, their doors slamming is like a gunshot going off. The atrium is completely open across all the floors and acts like an echo chamber. The room upstairs came home at 4am and spent the next 30 minutes dragging their chairs across the floor which sounded like they were in the room with us. Then they sat on their atrium balcony (or maybe it was a different room) and talked until 5:45 where I got jack of it and we got up and checked out. It wasn't great driving home on 2 hours sleep. I don't expect complete silence when staying in an apartment but the noise that comes out of the atrium is bonkers and so is the sound that transfers from the above apartment. My partner can sleep through a hurricane and she was getting woken up as well.

The room looked nice but the couch was insanely hard, I've never experienced anything like it. The bedroom fan had quite a large ticking sound and the shower head sprayed water out of the wall connection.

I'll be making sure I don't get shifted to the Atrio the next time I book at Miro even though the room looks nicer, it's not worth dealing with the noise or the seriously...

This place was an absolute disaster. The apartment was run-down, smelled strongly of sewage, and generally wasn’t clean—there were stains on the furniture, dusty corners, and a neglected feel to the whole place. The real nightmare, though, was the plumbing. A pipe under the kitchen sink was leaking and flooded the floor, creating a mess that we had to deal with.

To make things worse, the cleaners barged in well before checkout time, waking us up and completely disrupting what little sleep we had left. And after all of that, we were slapped with a late checkout fee for being half an hour late—because we were still trying to manage the water leak and the interrupted sleep. The staff was totally unhelpful throughout, offering no apologies or solutions, and seemed more interested in charging us extra fees than actually fixing any of the issues. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and stay...
