The Cheesecake Shop Sunnybank Hills — Local services in Brisbane City

This shop has become vile. I bought a cake months ago and paid $90 and it was fantastic. Recently I purchased the same custom cake and it was $135, how?? Within hours the cake completely collapsed so I took it back the following day for an exchange of the same value or a refund. The manager repeatedly argued with me, telling me that the cake collapsing was my fault because it wasn't eaten on the same day it was picked up. Since when do you need to eat a cake the same day it's made otherwise it's rubbish and falls to pieces? After going back and forward, I was offered an uniced FROZEN cake. Nice to know these 'fresh' cakes are frozen and contradicts the excuse that the cake needs to be consumed on the same day as it's collected. I was eventually offered a cake of much less value that I was originally told was already sold to a another customer. All of the cakes in the cabinet were there the day before... another contradiction to their rubbish excuse for poor quality. This place is a complete rip off, selling poor quality cakes with rude management. The poor quality is pretty clear when you look at the cakes in store. It looks like a toddlers decorated them. After years of buying from this store, I wont be back and neither will my extended family after the rubbish quality and rubbish excuse. Not even...

Trying to purchase a cake with the entertainment book, was told by the cashier to click the redeem button which we did the was told sorry they can't give that. Had a conversation with the manager that we could only redeem that with a online order, I read the fine print (not redeemable with online order only in store) Then was told that their store was not apart of the voucher program. usually it would state in the voucher which store is not included with the promo, this case it wasn't.

Then was told sorry they told only give out a 5% instead of the 25% which was on the voucher, after said that the machine only could only scan the barcode and won't allow any function to overright or discount the product. As someone who used to worked in retail I can honestly say that's a load of B.S. We didn't end up purchasing the cake.

Emailed the entertainment and was inform that its rear occasion that their members declined or modify the voucher. In the end they gave us our voucher back, it's a little sad because we have been there a couple times with or without voucher but some greedy store owner/ manager ruined the experience now we have to...

DO NOT go here. Read the reviews. The photo on the left is what I ordered. The photo on the right is what I received. I did ask for no sprinkles so that is fine. When my husband asked where all the toppings were the girl said they ran out. How can you just run out and give the customer this cake without saying anything. This cake is nearly $50. We called the manager and he was so rude and unprofessional. First he yelled at the girl in the shop saying it was her fault while I was on the phone then when I said I was embarrassed to show my kids the cake he said it was my husbands fault. That he shouldn’t have left with the cake. What was my husband to do when the girl said that was all they could offer, come home on my birthday without a cake and without a refund. We asked to return the cake for a refund and the manager said no. He said we could bring it back and he would find some decorations but it has to be straight away. We had a reservation because it was my birthday so we couldn’t. We just decided to laugh it off and not give this guy the satisfaction of wasting anymore of our time. Stay as far away...
