I usually come here for milk tea, I usually see a man who is kind and gives great service but today was different. I walked in after looking at the menu to see if I wanted to try anything different, a lady 30-40 years old had a pretty bad attitude at the start. The conversation went like this (and nothing is a lie, this is direct quotes) “hello, what do you want.” “can I just get a signature pearl milk tea please?” “ok.” “…” “…” “can I get standard sugar and no ice please?” “ok.” “…” “…” “here’s the cash, thank you!” “…” If you couldn’t tell from above, she didn’t ask what I wanted in my drink which was weird but I didn’t think much of it. It was just uncomfortable to deal with. I sat on a seat, I had my AirPods in and listened to music (as a 14 year old does). A few minutes later I hear a faint “Pearl milk tea.” I didn’t realise it was me at first but looked over a few seconds later to see the same woman standing there with my drink, giving me an extremely stern look which made me feel confused. I let out an “oh!” as I realised that was my drink. I walk up to her, and the woman rolls her eyes at me. I felt so awful, as an overthinking 14 year old I was nauseous. What did I do wrong? I say thank you, take my drink and walk away. Being a minor I tell mother who is a few stores across, she’s livid. Not just that, customers in front and behind me and mother (my mother is in the line of the grocery store) they give concerned looks and even ask if it was Gotcha and said that was very rude. When my mother confronted (yelled at the woman because she was rude to my mother before this occasion and I’m a child) she denied it and called me a liar. On the other hand, the drink tasted mid at best, the only thing nice is the atmosphere and cups. I’m never...
Read moreWe had a very bad experience with the male worker there and will never go back again. My friend Mina is a very regular customer and one day she forgot to bring her rewards point card when she come to buy the bubble tea. The lady staff was nice and told that it is ok for her to take a new rewards card for a stamp and the next time that Mina comes, she will combine the one point with the others points already accumulated on the old card. The next time when we come to buy the tea, Mina asked the male worker about transferring the one point onto the old card so that all points are achieved and she is entitled to a free drink. The male worker flatly refused to combine the points and was quite rude about it. He could be the manager or the owner because he was quite authoritative about it. It would seem therefore that he does not want to give a free drink. Mina is a very regular customer since the shop opened and it would seem that the worker should at least treat Mina well. Anyway he refused and asked her to pay up and move on. What an insult! What is the point of having a rewards point card if there is no desire to reward regular customer patronage. We threw the rewards card and decided that we would never buy from that shop again. Watch out, people, for this worker. You will be treated like this one day! Anyway their bubble tea is...
Read moreThe owners (guy at the back and lady at the counter) do not know how to serve customers. We’ve ordered two large milk teas asking for one with less sugar, the lady at the counter seemed very arrogant not really listening nor understanding what we asked for. Not only that they made a mistake (wrong size and they made two milk-teas with both having less sugar) but they rather scolded us(customers) and not fixing the problems at all, not even saying a single word “sorry” to customers. Can’t believe these guys do business in the hospitality industry. Not only their rude and arrogant attitude cannot be acceptable but also the taste of milk-teas are not worth any dollar. I would rather drive a bit more to get a better taste of milktea and ordinary customer service. I do not leave my review on Google but these guys need to learn how to serve...
