It's definitely worth a visit but my experience this latest time I visited wasn't the best.

The lady behind the desk I think might have been having a bad day or was just a little over it, didn't show much enthusiasm when talking me through where to go and what to see in the gallery.

The artists in this gallery are simply incredible, however felt a little tacky with bright neon signs on most of the beautiful paintings that said "10% off for cash!" .

There are also weird little knick knacks thrown in amongst all the legit art. Like plush toy kittens and other animals. I think the gallery experience would be a bit nicer without the tacky souvenirs thrown in between excellent art works.

The big picture is always breath taking...but the fake animals around the sandy dessert take away from the experience a bit. Leave the stuffed goannas and the more realistic animals, but the plushie kangaroos and plastic snakes all through the exhibit could...

The big picture is worth a visit. It’s stunning! When you walk out on the platform you almost feel like your back in the outback, it’s been very well done with the audio as well.

Some very quirky gifts throughout the shop and we were able to get some cute presents for family. The chocolate is super tasty. I highly recommend the rocky road which is fairly priced around $8. Unfortunately the jewellery inside was very average and nothing seemed worth the price being charged.

I do not like that you had to pay an entrance fee to buy souvenirs and chocolates. Those should be available...

Loved this place. Went there over 2 days as there is so much to see. All different style of paintings, Sculptures, jewellery, nick nacks, mineral displays plus home of the world's largest acrylic painting of outback Australia on canvas (100 x 12m). Also has a small chocolate factory with chocolates, fudge and old English Lollies. The place is also Pet friendly. We could walk through both days with our little dog 🐕 which is a huge bonus for us. Certainly would recommend this place for a look. Make sure you allow plenty on time as there is so much to take in. Staff is also...

What a great experience. Lots of jewellery and art through this unique set up. Watched a short video to start with. Then meandered through to the cave like experience where you come out on to a walkway and beholds a magnificent art of work that is 100m long and 12m high. In this natural looking setting the artist has captured the true essence of the outback. Magnificent. It the other end settled in to the video of The Big Red, well worth a viewing. More art and jewellery on the way out plus chocolate.

PLEASE STAY AWAY from the Silver City Mint and Art Centre today at 2:25pm on 17th January 2025 I was refused service just because I didn't have cash he said the EFTPOS machine wouldn't work with a low amount I just wanted to purchase a 3D postcard. The man who served me was rude, aggressive and very cash money hungry and a real Scrooge Mcduck. I would give his customer service a 0/100 0 stars highly not recommended.
