Ok Clearly someone is trying. Roast veg wasn't really roast. Whole Potato skin on, steamed greens& carrot, pumpkin was officially roasted. Our boy had the Kraken, looked good on paper, slightly disappointing. Plain slightly dry schnitty topped with a few squid pieces and thin garlic sauce in a ramekin. With a thicker sauce, melted cheese presented on the schnitzel it would have been perfect. Roasting potatoes, not hard, cauliflower au gratin, not hard. Club food should be the thing that brings customers in, offer something different or indeed an improvement on the other club food. I bet the corn kernels on the salad bar are thrown away every day. No one wants tinned veg as salads. Only have two or three options but make them thoughtful. I want different/better to whatever I could make at home. I hope the team read this constructive feedback...

On our travels from Perth to Gold Coast, there was no restaurant at our hotel, so we took to Google Maps for decent restaurants in the area, and BHMC appeared.

Amazing location, great atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful food, decent prices, a the waiting time wasn't unbearable like some places can be.

Parking was plenty and easy access.

Host greeted us at the front reception and was bubbly, talkative, and very welcoming. Though we weren't members of the club, we could still dine in using our drivers licence for check-in.

We would definitely return here and I highly recommend it especially after a long day of travelling and you don't feel like cooking.

Was very dissapointed with the meal I was served last Friday night from the bistro. We orded the trio of seafood which I have enjoyed several times in the past. First of all the portion size had been significantly reduced with only 12 chips on the plate my plate receiving 10 on hers and less salad than usual. But more importantly the fish that was served to me as I requested battered and she had grilled was the worst I had ever been served. It's usually in a nice crisp batter but this time it had been battered in the same as the salt and pepper calamari meaning i could not taste the fish at all due to it being so overpowering . I complained to the waitress that removed our plates but never heard...
