This afternoon I rush to Myer to exchange my mac Powder product which I brought on Monday for my valentines make over . I changed my mind as the colour of powder came bit darker as when purchased I didnot realise as my friend recommended me that shade . The guy who assisted me on Monday was really nice one and thank you for treating or welcoming me. This afternoon lady who was there make me feel so bad and down . Her behaviour towards me was racially profile. Not even saying hello . And told me to wait as she got customer waiting , which is ok because she was helping another customer doing her skin shade helping her on her face.After she finished, I approach her and mentioned her about my mind change . She did said at first she cannot do exchange . I approach her and said I do have receipt and box and everything on bag and itās clearly mentioned on that mind change can be done within 30 days . After that she said oh you can return but you cannot exchange the item as per policy of cosmetic products . I did agreee and follow that . She said the product I return looks like it has been used several times not only once . As I clearly mentioned her that I only dab on my skin on Valentineās Day so it went darker thatās the reason I am here to get another shade for matching skin type for mine. I completely felt bad . Itās not like I am not returning product and I want money back . I still want the powder . She didnot seems like she is interested to listen what I am expressing her. I even request her to help me to find shade for my skin type, so I can purchase . She take out like 3 of the shades and show to me to choose it . Again I approach because I have no idea how to match the skin type so I need help . Again repeated word, my customer is waiting for me. After that I felt or realise that behaviour she showing me was not acceptable for me or anybody like me as a customer . I approach her again and said hi I am also your customer I am approaching you so I can take the right product could you please help me . She replied me saying oh but you exchanging your product . And I told her I am also buying my product . After that she did try and dab on my skin really quickly . I did choose the product and buy another powder which needed for me. I only spend like 2 minutes . I really want to see manager but I was rushing for appointment.
Please please do not treat anybody like that . I can see that you do not have bad day as your so smiling and approaching to other customers . But when it comes to me Again thank you lady for treating me horrible way and making my day feel bad . I have lived in cairns for 13 years never had this experience . I only wrote this long review because I hope no one has to come across with this sort of behaviour . Please respect each individual as equal.

Ā Ā Ā Read more2 purchases on different days and a disappointment, I was looking for a perfume which I didn't find and accidentally I was looking at makeup and an employee approached me to offer me some eye pencils, at first I said no but she was nice and insisted that I end up buying it, I paid for it and left, in total it cost me 30 dollars to which I said, well I don't know much about makeup, surely since it's a brand name that's what it costs, I went to chemist to look for the perfume and oh surprise the same pencil 12 dollars I really felt scammed but oh well I said these things happen. Another day my husband went for my birthday to buy a silver chain and pendant to replace an old one he had for years. Within two months it started to turn black, which I thought was normal because silver gets dark, you clean it and it goes back to its original state. I did this but the color didnāt change. We went to the store with the bill and explained it to the two people who helped us. They asked me if I had bathed with it. I said yes, but I have always done that with other chains and then I clean them and nothing happens. To which they said that it was a mistake to bathe with it. Thatās why I went to Pandora and bought some liquid to see if it would come off. I told them if itās silver it should come off just like that. The girl said that this isnāt pure silver, so I got scammed a second time, because when they sold it they sold it as silver. Donāt buy there, support small entrepreneurs. They respect you more as a customer. The big brands donāt care about you as a customer. However, I did what I was told and bought the Pandora liquid, even though the girl from Pandora told me that it probably wouldn't work, and that's what happened. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have always loved Myer for its large range of items, how the stores are set up, the beautiful items down ro basic items, however I and others simply hate that we can not ever find a staff person, for assistance within a reasonable distance from the product we find in clothing. Today I went in looking for a teenager for clothes, socks and we walked the entire clothing areas more than once without seeing a single staff person. I am instore at a minimum once a fortnight / month. This is not a one time observation.
The makeup area is always staffed, the crockery and entertainment sections are fine. Even shoes, bags sections are staffed if you wait patiently. Jewellery is a void for the last few months. Its the worst scernio for a business so close to the oceanliner terminal for tourists. Like I said I Loved Myer for decades.
Now I hesitate if I am short on the hours required to wait for a solitary staff person in clothing. I know there are designers who have staff in the center of the ground floor in Cairns Central Shopping Center, the expensive dress section is staffed properly. There is half a floor atleast devouted to endless clothes racks. The less staff you have under the required amount to take care of customers needs in this fast paced world, the more customers will leave the store upset and without buying anything.
Keeping people in store wasting their time with no guidance to which ranks are for teenagers, working women, the races, the older women and males needs does not means more sales. It means angry, or atleast disappointed customers who won't come back for months. I would give 5 stars if I found a staff member in under 20 minutes even but it...
