Ordered from uber eats a pizza standard quality, definitely not Italian style, a panuozzo which I advise people to stay away from ( hard bun, tiny sausage no sauce ) made me feel of my grandfather talking about post WWII. Double portion of arancini so small that my desex dogs got embarrassed, mozzarella sticks I still have no idea where the mozzarella was supposed to be. And to conclude something called scapuozzoli that to be honest is left over pizza dough deep fried, my nice of 1 year old can do better. Now as per working in the industry, I well know that’s pretty much all BIDFOOD products, we are talking about few dollars per bag, well well 70$ for pretty much 5$ worth of food is dearly upsetting. More upsetting is the useless talk I had with one of the workers. Calls talked and explained the situation, he took no responsibility but he said he would talk to the manager. If you are about to order please read, might save you some money. Unfortunately for whoever run this place I well aware of those traditional food from Naples, very disappointed to see my traditional food related to such a thing.

My wife and I stumbled across Vitalia’s Deli walking down the street and couldn’t resist stopping in. Upon waking in we were greeted with such a fresh and vibrant meat and cheese case and standing behind the counter was the kindest smile and a warm welcoming, ‘Hi welcome in my name is Hector how can I help you’. It’s so nice to witness great customer service this day and age! Hector recommended the Italian Stallion sandwich on Focaccia which ended up being so unbelievable!! Like fireworks in your mouth, the pesto was so fresh and the bread was so pillowy. We have been to Italy and this was a great reminder of our past trip. Vitalia’s Deli is an absolute gem in Cairns City! I stopped by for lunch and was blown away by the quality and authenticity of their food. The bread is baked fresh daily, and the meats and cheeses are imported straight from Italy—you can really taste the difference.

I had the Bravo Bravo panini with prosciutto, pecorino cheese, truffle cream, and rocket. It was fresh, flavorful, and such a generous serving that I ended up sharing it with my son. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering us samples of their prosciutto and pecorino while we waited, and even brought over their pecorino cream to try (which was amazing).
