Organic on Charles — Local services in East Perth

I've been shopping here since I first set foot in Perth. Most of our food ingredients comes from this shop, chosen under Ayurvedic guidance, for maximum benefit.

We are so grateful for all they do to source & offer such a range of benign yummy foods. I assume theirs are also more nutritious, as compared to the edible poisoned alternatives, that look flawless, taste bland, and can do more harm than good. (Why does this remind me of a witch with a talking mirror and a red apple?)

They have other items, too, like clothing, smoothies, rat traps... And a section of heavily discounted items.

Their website is fab for browsing, shopping, ordering pickup/delivery.

The staff is always great at service, and seem so balanced and caring. No signs of materialism, pushy salesmanship, money hunger etc. That coherence is appreciated too. Their level of service was excellent even under COVID...

Staff are lovely, can't fault them. Good range of products. I've taken off a star as I have found that i need to thoroughly check and recheck any fruit or vegetable i pick up, as I've gotten a fair bit that were either totally or partially unusable due to spoiling. Any type of melon seem to suffer the most (i won't buy one that isn't cut in half). But they have a lot of stock, and i think it would help if it was checked more regularly. And maybe just don't order in as much. I also wish they didn't spray everything so much with water. I get it this is probably done for freshness, but it's just overdone, and by the afternoon it looks like someone took a hose to some items (especially the open fridges), and i think this would go a long way to stopping produce spoiling faster. Love the store, love the staff, will continue to buy there, just need to be careful in...

I've been trying to find a decent organic shop for some time. I was most impressed with the fruit and vege selection as there was variety, which I've found in other shops can be quite limited. I loved that the owner has carefully curated this store with organic goods from Australia and internationally. As I was walking around, there was something new I hadn't noticed before, and that was a nice experience....
