Redesigned over 10 years ago by Ross Watson, the Palms golf course is a big test of anyone's game. Some wide fairways have difficult bunkering which give a visual degree of difficulty however use a laser range finder and you will find plenty of space between them. Same applies to 'carries' over water and onto greens. Greens are multi levelled, turtle backed and grainy. DO NOT short side yourself. I'm just a weekend hack but I still enjoyed the quality of this course. Water is everywhere, so if you don't hit straight all the time, be prepared to lose some balls. Excellent fairways. Very challenging greens. Golf carts are the best I've used. Staff were very friendly and professional. Purchased a delicious and very fresh sandwich during play by the mobile service cart at a reasonable price. The 19th hole was very reasonably priced for food and drink as well.
