I was over the moon when I found this place, having a regular yoga practice back in Sydney I was missing a lead practice. A visit to Alceme is a must wether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga. the teachers are attentive and very good at guiding you through the practice. it’s also worth going just to experience this magnificent building, which I later found out was an old Odd Fellows Building. I attended 4 classes during my visit and all teachers were really good. Diana, one of the partners is an exceptional teacher and her restorative class is a must. This is now my routine destination for regular exercise and I am pleased with all aspects of it.
Location: in the CBD of Hobart.
Price: $19.99 per week for unlimited classes (best value that I know of, compared to most places that charge $25 per class).
Venue: a serene, white hall with airy space and natural light.
Instructors: really enjoy the classes that are lead by Nicole on Wednesdays and Josie on Saturdays.
