This cafe is a hidden gem! As a fellow vegan traveller from Sydney, I was so surprised to find a vegetarian/vegan cafe which had such delicious and affordable cafe food!

The cafe has a great ambience, its so relaxing and a great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I came here while travelling with my partner and we loved it so much we came here twice during our trip.

I highly recommend their savoury dishes - I really enjoyed their vegan Benedict, vegan egg pancake and the vegan ham and cheese bagel. They also have some Taiwanese side dishes such as fried "chicken" and tofu which were absolutely delicious.

All dishes have no garlic or onion which is really helpful for those with dietary requirements.

We also tried their matcha crepe which was probably the only let down. The crepe lacked matcha flavour and had a very strong coconut oil taste.

Overall, I wouldn't let the crepe stop you from visiting this hidden gem. The staff are friendly and polite, the savoury food is delicious and the ambience is lovely. A...

Really confused by the rest of the reviews here. I deliberated over whether to leave one but decided I had to looking at these biazarro reviews. I suspect most of the people raving about this place don't get out much. The staff here were nice enough, although somewhat cold - just like the weird decor. The food was so average, the 'fried chicken' was just a supermarket schnitzel. This, served with the waffle, was drizzled with caramelised balsamic on a bed of salad - wtf? The benedict was okay, the sauce and eggs were good but the mushrooms had seen about 60 seconds in the pan. This place has potential with an interesting menu but the quality of the food was poor.

Omg - came back to edit because I remembered they put cinnamon on my hash brown with the eggs Benedict. It gets crazier the more I...

Beautiful cafe with lots of vegan options. But the food was below average , overpriced and subpar service. I had vegan big breakfast which was very small just had tons of salad, tiny non marinated piece of tofu in the name of vegan egg and quite expensive for what it was. I had to ask for extra hollandaise as there was not enough and they charged me extra for a tiny small thing. See the pictures . That behavior is very cheapo for a cafe like that.

My friend ordered acai bowl no creativity had a sprinkle of muesli and very basic ingredients.

Coffee and hot chocolate again very expensive and very average.

It came across just a fancy Instagram cafe with average food.

Not recommended unless you just want...

I stopped by The Little Poet for breakfast while on a stroll, and it was a delightful experience. This vegan cafe offers some Taiwanese-influenced dishes as well. I opted for the Eggs Benedict with real eggs, and it was tasty. The homemade Hollandaise sauce was a must-have for me, and it did not disappoint. The vegan bacon was okay, but I prefer traditional bacon. The sourdough bread was decent, though I've had better. The presentation of the dish was good. The service was excellent, and the decor added to the overall experience. The staff were friendly, and the ambience was very pleasant. I highly recommend The Little Poet and wouldn't hesitate to come here again.
