My Husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat today when we happened to notice this place. As we had never heard of it before we thought we would go in for a quick look. While looking at the menu, we watched as another customer's meal was bought over to their table and it looked amazing. The server was very polite and let us take our time to browse but was quick to realise when we were ready to order. We sat down waiting for our meal. The music was at a comfortable level and though I can't remember what music was playing, it was pleasing to the ear. We weren't left waiting very long but while we were waiting we looked around. The place looked and smelt clean and well kept. The meal when it came looked just as good as what we had seen being delivered to the other table earlier. The burgers were delicious as were the chips (crispy on the outside soft tatters in the middle). Much to our surprise there was nothing in the way oily/greasy drippings in the wrapping left after we had finished eating the burger as you would normally expect to see meaning there was not an overload of grease in the meal. The salads were fresh and the chips also non greasy. We were very impressed, so much so that we spoke to the staff about how impressed we were. Had a $10 birthday voucher to use but it wouldn’t let me use it for an online pickup order or at the kiosk instore, so I had to order through the girl at the counter to use it, wanted the planet chik’n for $16.95, was charged for the fried chik’n schnitzel for $19, I didn’t realise until after I paid that it seemed more expensive and looked at my receipt and saw that something was wrong. I let the staff know the mistake and that it seems to be the same burger but different prices, they seemed shocked by the situation as they had never realised and said they’d refund me the difference but then when they realised I used a birthday voucher to get $10 off they said they couldn’t give me the few dollars back as the manager has said no to this same situation in the past when a voucher had been used as part of the payment.

Overall disappointed with the whole situation, you need to fix this problem, take one of the options off the menu/till so the staff don’t make this mistake again and overcharge more customers. I don’t blame the staff as it was a mistake and they all seemed lovely about it even though they said they couldn’t do anything to fix the problem.

The main problem is with the service or could even be the training for the staff. I ordered my food at around 1:35pm and the earliest pickup option was 1:45pm, fair enough. Got to the store at 1:43pm and the order wasn't ready yet, understandable and I was happy to wait for some good burgers.

Waited until around 2pm, nothing yet and so at this point I wanted to see how far along it was. The girl at the counter had no idea about my order even though she was the one that greeted me and checked my order confirmation on my phone, stating that it wouldn't be long when I entered the store. She checked one of the bags and my phone three times and was still unsure if it was my order, lmao what? Manager had to come over to confirm what was going on and immediately could tell that it was my order that had sat there for around 5 mins.

The worst thing is that she didn't think to yell out the order number or check with people that were sitting around in the store. The store might be newly opened with some teething issues, but the service really needs work. -2 stars for...
