Phuket Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Logan City

No doubt a freshly cooked sit down meal in this restaraunt might hopefully be an enjoyable meal. BUT I ordered takeaway for pickup after opening time. Price was $171.00. On arrival home found food to be a complete rip off. "SpecialFried rice"was just plain white steamed rice microwave heated. Not fried & No egg, no mixed vegetables, no chicken or prawns as advertised on menu! Tom Yum soup. Having lived & worked in Thailand for years I know what authentic Tom Yum should be like. The dishwater I received with my order was inedible & contained no seafood, lemon grass, calimari, etc. Nothing like Tom Yum! Disgusting. "Deep-fried fish: topped with seasonal vegetables & sweet chilli sauce." Deep fried?? Nope! Just Soggy, tasteless rubbish, went straight into the bin!. Cost me $171.00 to fill the food scraps bin. NEVER AGAIN ! We used to go to the Thai Orchid restaraunt in Springwood before it changed hands. Wonderful authentic Thai food at that time. AVOID THIS PLACE...

Well waiting for our food we decided to pop out for a second girl comes back and let's us know there is a surcharge for the drink even though we ordered a jug was an honest mistake so we took it out and put it in the car. Pad Thai was good, Calamari abit over cooked, Pork belly was way over cooked and dry the guy there apologised and told us order another dish free on the house so we ordered another Pad Thai now comes the bill he still has the nerve to charge us for the surcharge drink that was in the store for all 2 seconds and the full price of the meal!! $60 something later will never come back!! Have never left a review before, but due to this experience and being a long time customer to this resturant I had to let other know. Phuket resturant is no longer the same new owner, new chef and no traditional clothing anymore. I asked for mild spice with penang curry and it came out with two ingredients which was water and chilli really chilli for a mild dish. On top of the food the chef was insulted by our honesty and told us we had to clean up the mess my 1 year old made which was just childish. The chef was not ballsy enough to taste the monstrosity he served us himself and I 100 percent did not pay a dollar for that gross dish, he tried bargaining with me for a price even lowered it to half price and then 5 dollars I told him 0.
