I had a fantastic time at the Kathina ceremony on Sunday. I was a monk at this monastery in 2016 and it was after the same ceremony back then that I was ordained. I went with my friend Grace, who was also impressed. After the ceremony, we went back to the temple and were lucky enough that Ajahn Chi spent time with us talking about impermanence, mindfulness and detachment. The monastery is friendly and there are always monks that can speak English. I was happy to visit again after so many years and was amazed at how much the place has grown.

A beautiful place to be. Looking in from Elgar Road, it appears small but once inside, you'll be amazed with the size of the compound. Well kept with numerous carpark. The Prayer Hall is magnificently done. Was there to request Prayer chanting for a recently departed younger brother. Friendly and approachable Monks, always there to help No photos were taken as a mark of respect to the purpose of visit......... There are a few parking spaces available but they're spread across the three properties that make up the...
